Honor the warranty! I purchased an Overhead Door garage door from Mulhaupts last fall. After a few months the glass on the garage door started to crack. It looks weeks to get through to the salesman that sold me the door, to have the glass replaced. After finally getting through to Kurt, it took several more weeks and several followups to get any type of answer. After he finally got something he said that it was going to be $75 for a service call and $100 for the replacement glass. I was surprised that since it was under warranty, it should be covered, so he magnanimously offered me $20 off what should be covered. The reason? Because it wasn't there when it was installed. What good is a warranty if it has to be noticed on install or when you purchase it?The crack fits every description of a stress crack I can find. After looking closer there is a chunk of glass missing. The missing glass is underneath the flange that would not have normally been noticed. The flange would have retained the glass, so it's likely that the glass was damaged when it was being constructed because it's totally missing. Mulhaupts installed a defective garage door. Not one person from Mulhaupts has taken 10 minutes to look at what I've been trying to point out. I 100% regret purchasing an Overhead Door from Mulhaupts! The warranty is meaningless. You cannot trust this company.

I ordered a lock from them only to find it online for $200 less than what they charged me. When I went in to ask them to return it they said they charge a 25% restocking fee totaling more than the lock itself online. Terrible customer service and incapable to do standard math. This company has really stuck it to me. Hopefully the owner will actually contact me back and resolve this the way it should be resolved. After making a big deal out of the situation the owner contacted me to tell me I would get a full refund And apologized for my experience. He told me their supplier was going to wave the restocking fee. Sad to see how my experience was so poor but this business knows everything there is to know about locks and if they dont they will find out. Just double check to make sure youre getting a good deal.

Had a new alarm system & skybell installed. Raymond Czupka & Kim Poynter did a wonderful job listening to the needs for our family. Our children can arm & disarm system with no issues. This has made a huge difference! I would highly recommend Mulhaupts if you are wanting to add security to your home!!

I have had the alarm service for a couple of years and I am very happy with it. However, I recently had to call them to replace ONE BATTERY because you cannot do this by yourself. They have to.. They charged me $10.00 for the Battery, $95.00 for the service call and ANOTHER 90.00 to actually replace the battery. When I called to complain, the person I spoke to was very brusk, and told me that is just our process. If they will not teach homeowners how to replace the battery themselves, this is just a rip off!

Took three service calls to get the system working right (one for sensor batteries, one to replace the backup battery and a third to replace a faulty sensor). Lightened me up to the tune of $450. The service techs were early, quick and friendly. If other problems occur, I plan to drop the system.

Called them multiple times for about 8 months now, with the same problems. Each time I called theyre responses were resetting or bypassing the faulty door until someone will scheduled for my area. Then wow right? So good bye. Very disappointed.

Mulhaupt's replaced the lock for my front door and did a very good job. Mike did a free estimation and gave me a reasonable price. James did installation very efficiently. They both patiently listened to my requirements. They are nice, reliable, knowledgeable and professional. I am very happy with their work.

Paid multiple service calls for them to repair the doors. Never did get them locking and when I called 2 inform them that they never fixed it they said they would have to charge me again to come out.Couple hundred dollars for no gain at all. I'm a regional manager that deals with contractors all day long so I know bad business when I see it.

I ordered a garage door from Mulhaupt's a couple of years ago and never got around to leaving feedback until now. The installation was concerning from the start, when the techs rolled up with the wrong door and asked if I would be okay with it. In what world would I want something other than what I ordered? They decided to remove my low headroom tracks that were fitted when the house was built and put in some flimsy standard rails. After getting the right panels and installing them on the track, the top panel wasn't shutting flush with the door seals. I suspect this was a result of the rails being swapped, as the other door was perfectly straight and was flush when closed. So we had to do some nonsense with the new seals and bend them in to meet the top of the door. Overall not thrilled with the workmanship, but the price was right. I guess you get what you pay for.

Their staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous from start to finish. In the world of garage doors there are a lot of choices, their staff walked us through the process of picking right doors for our application. Since my business needed to stay open during the installation, they worked diligently with me and coordinated the install through our day to day operations. The entire process was flawless. The doors not only look and operated great, but also saved us on the heating bills.
