I needed a car key programmed, and I took it in and was told that the key I had purchased online would not work. I was not charged for the time spent trying to program the key, and they were very friendly and were able to order an OEM key for me without needing to go to a dealership. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Always get great service! Whether it's for personal use, or business! These guys have done keys for EVERYTHING! Vehicles, building, locks, even refurbished a few pad locks for us! What's even better is the honesty, if you have a vehicle with a very picky computer system like an infinity, they'll tell you it should go to the dealer, but they do 99.99% of EVERYTHING ELSE!Steve and his staff are top notch! This place is great. I'm a mechanic and I had broken the key to my tool box and brought it to them in 2 pieces. I was thinking it would be a long shot as it was bent and broken. Not only did they make me a perfectly working key, but they did it fast, about 15 minutes. All that for less than $2 out the door. Service was friendly too. Highly recommended 5/5

We replaced the ignition on our 03 Honda Civic and needed the new keys programmed. N&S was the only locksmith that said they could do it. Everyone else besides the dealerships said it couldnt be done. Steve came out, showed up exactly on time, and got the job done. The keys we received with the ignition didnt match, so he got us a new key. Definitely had some hiccups along the way, but Steve never gave up hope and was so friendly the entire time. He even gave me a smoking deal since we needed more done than what we were originally quoted. 100% satisfied with our decision to do business with N&S!!!! I highly recommend them for any locksmith service you may need!

Exceptional services from the office personnel. Steve is on point, experienced, and provide great/supper discount for Military Service Members. This is my one stop for all keys programing. I had a Lexus and two Toyota keys cut and programed in the last three years at Bettendorf N&S Lock, Inc.. I love the place. They do the jobs that other locksmith shops in the area can't do.

I needed another key for car. I took a blank key and my one key that worked with the car to N&S and asked if they could cut a key for me. I was told it would cost $45 to cut the key. I told clerk I was willing to pay the $45 if he could assure me that the key would start my car. I was given that assurance. Two days later I got a call from N&S that my key was ready. Unfortunately, I had to take another car to pick up both keys and, therefore, couldn't test the key before paying N&S the $45. Later at home, when I tried to start my car with the newly cut key I discovered it would not start the car. I went back to N&S to ask them for a refund of the $45. The clerk that I had dealt with before had no recollection of providing me with any assurance the key would start my car. I asked to speak to the owner . He told me that only thing the key that they cut could do is turn on the ignition. He refused to refund my $45. So ask yourself; who in their right mind would spend $45 for a key that would enable him to listen to the radio. Recommendation; you might want to consider finding another locksmith.

Worst experience with this company. The owner specifically asked when I wrote my review that I include that they were following the 'law' ( the law x100 is more like it) so that's out there. My friend is stuck in a small town and lost her keys. Accidents happen, right? She bought a car from my husband and I. The registration for the past 4-5 years is in the car but when we sold the car we took the current registration out. Yes, my girlfriend should have registered it in her name, but hasn't. Ok We got that we are wrong there. Bettendorf will NOT do any services for her per their 'policy/law' because of the registration. Told me it wasn't their fault my friend lost the keys. So of course my husband's at work, I'm home with my newborn, so I get a notarized copy of my drivers livemse, a copy of our marriage certificate ( because my name is not on registration or title) my husband's social security card, and the current registration! Do you know that they STILL are refusing to offer services!!! They won't do anything until they have a copy of my husband's drivers license. What a freaking joke! Of course I'm a little feisty being that I'm home with my newborn and they are not making this easy! I asked if they'd like a vial of my blood so they can ensure it's my DNA and I am who I say I am. The owner responded well yes, I'd take that too! Remind you when he called me back after I spoke to the receptionist twice, first thing he said that if I were to raise my voice or anything he wouldn't talk to me . He must not of heard the phone calls with his receptionist when she was raising her voice at me, ( as was I) and cutting me off (as was I) I'm not trying to be innocent that I put up a fight. But raised his voice through out our conversation! He also accused me of cutting him off but didn't acknowledge he cut me off and talked over me at times too. I mean seriously, they have taken this too far and almost seems like they are now 'punishing' us because of the fight Ive put up and also want a copy of the title, because anyone can register a car! Absolutely awful customer service, a horrific experience, no grace offered, and just plain rude! Worst.experience!
