Very friendly! Quick to help, knew exactly what I was wanting done, worked fast, and the price was a LOT cheaper than we anticipated.We needed a key reprogrammed, and when we called, he said it would take about 15 minutes. They got it done in 5! Very happy!!

I called to have them come and re-key.Went over at length on what was needed. They quoted a price. It seemed reasonable so I agreed to hire them. 35. for house call10. per lock to re-key2.75 for keys and copiesI told Adam we may have a few challenges with the back door, he said he would make sure they had a replacement on hand. I also told him this was for an elderly couple on a budget.....Adam is wonderful at customer service!Additional charge for hardware was 45.00 for lever handle19.95 for dead boltJOHN arrived to do the work.No problem with any of this so far until they give me a bill for 270.00 !!!!I told JOHN this was no where near the quote!!!!He changed it to 234.27.I paid it but will never Recommend them or hire them again.They never mentionedANY other charges!!!!I would have shopped around if I had known the hidden charges!!!

Some of the absolute best customer service around. I showed up with two deadbolts and two door knobs to be rekeyed and was pushing the limits of closing time. They were the most professional, explained the different lock types, and still rekeyed everything for me at closing time when I finally arrived. They are cheap, and the dog can probably play soccer better than most high school players.

I called to inquire about getting my car unlocked and I feel like they withheld information while encouraging a very expensive solution instead.Here's why. My key wouldn't open the door and set off my security when I tried. They said they couldn't open my door with their method. I asked if they could jimmy my lock and she acted...funny..about that, telling me she doesn't know of any place that does that. She said I'm going to have to call a dealership and have my car towed there and pay them to take it apart somehow to get it open. (Tow and take it apart?)I didn't buy that and looked for another place. I saw pop-a-lock who jimmies it easily.Based on the lady's Behavior I believe she did no there were places who would Jimmy the lock for me but didn't want to tell me. She would rather offer a solution that was several hundred dollars more than recommend a competitor. She intentionally lied to me. I do not believe for one second that someone working in this line of work would not be aware of someone who jimmies locks. I think that is very wrong. That's not even good business. How many people have trusted this company and as a result gone without their vehicle for days while shelling out hundreds to dealerships? Wouldn't a better business practice be jimmying locks themselves instead of lying to potential customers?

Have to agree with the rude review. Went to get a key cut and fob programmed. We discussed that they might not program and I would still pay for it After they cut both keys they said the fob wouldnt program. Notice I said AFTER they cut the keys. Then the boss comes in and says no those are wrong be glad we didnt charge you. The employee should have known this and ruined keys because your help didnt know! Has nothing to do with the fob not programming. Has everything to do with the help not knowing and the owner thinking their time is more valuable than mine.. rude.. and its sell not sale.

They were so willing to work with our specific needs when we had an out-of-town crisis, and made us feel valued during the whole process. They were very accommodating, quick with their service, and very fairly priced. Unlike some services, which make you feel dumber when you've clearly done a dumb thing (and honestly, you mostly call a locksmith because you've done a very stupid thing!), they listened respectfully, told us what needed to be done, and responded promptly and precisely. I would definitely recommend this locksmith to anyone in the Springfield area and will be calling them again if I ever need assistance!

*Bring lock with you*I get all my keys made here, I've been a regular customer for approximately 2 years now. Staff is friendly and helpful. Imho the prices are cheap.If the key doesn't work they will replace IF you have the receipt. This happened only once and I was happy with the replacement key.

Went in had broken my house key, Harper key was able to make a new one with me having two pieces! Plus he was only going to charge me $55 to make a new ignition key when the dealership wanted $80... Great service great prices oh and one amazingly awesome German Sheppard that's as cuddly as can be!!!

I received OUTSTANDING service at Harper Lock and Key! I lost the key to my Yamaha Virago. I couldn't find the key code and the VIN is useless for making new keys. I thought I was done and would have to lay out a load of cash to be able to ride again. Not so. Harper's got me fixed up with a new set of keys in ONE DAY! And it wasn't even a rush order - and it didn't cost cost me a bundle either. Waaay less than $100. In any case, price and speed of service aside, they were so friendly and helpful while I was there. They were even able to match up a key for an old desk I have. These guys are the best!

Brent spent a lot of time with me today making sure I was taken care of. He cut me a new car key, programmed the chip to start the ignition and went above and beyond programming the remote to lock and unlock the doors. There were a few bumps in the process but the staff worked together to solve the problem and resolve my issues as fast as possible and for a very affordable price. Exceptional customer service. A little disappointed that the shop dog had gone home for the day but I will definitely take my business here in the future.
