This store saved our lives. We needed face coverings urgently and this store was the only one in town that was selling them at a normal price and not gouging. We met the owner named Alan and he told us his mission is to help all of Brooklyn with his stores by importing these masks straight from the factories and supplying them to people at normal prices. We ended up get a few copies for my keys, buying some tools and making a great friend. This brings heart and community back into our society and shows what America is all about during hard times

So, this is one of those places you'd think you'd never have to leave a review; but here we are. Locked myself out of my place and called these guys; as they were the closest to my location. This was about 5:30pm. Refreshingly, they came in about 20 minutes. I'd say that's quicker that I expected. Uber eats takes longer! The guy didn't waste time, and fortunately; he didn't have to completely destroy my lock to get in. He was pleasant and super efficient. And in this particular circumstance; that's all you want. So highly recommended! Top marks! Are they Brooklyn's Best Locksmith? Who knows! I hope I never have to call the others to find out.

An emergency and they were just there. Needed keys in a hurry ran over there and to my surprise did not know you can find do many things in the store. Just needed a thermostat to test my boiler and guess where I went, yes they has it there all happening at 6pm on a Saturday. Great to know for the neighborhood.

I've had to use this company twice and both times I received help from Wes. The first time, I lost my key, he arrived within 15 minutes and created a key within 15 minutes. The 2nd time, I went on trip and came back to a car with a dead battery. In addition to that-, my cat sitter broke my car key. When I got to the store, Wes advised me that the car will likely not stay on unless the key censor is close to the ignition. If I lost the censor it would cost me over $200 for a new key. However, if the key in fact, just broke-to replace would cost $45. He told me to go back home and try a few steps to see what exactly was the problem. When I came back to the store for the 2nd time and explained my car would not stay on and the key icon was blinking,, he offered to take a ride to my house and see what the issue was. Before leaving, he taped my key together and drove over to my house. I jumped started my car with the portable charger, when that still didn't work-he advised me to use my rental car to start my car. Low and behold it started! Since the car was able to stay on with my key, he knew that all I needed was a replacement key (and new battery). He advised me to go to AutoZone and buy a battery and they would put in on for free. Thanks to WES going far and beyond his job duties, he saved me lots of money. I will always go to this company and appreciate how well I was treated by WES!

Terrible Customer Service. Made 3 copies of a key, TWICE, without having the propper materials. Keys didn't work eithinTerris and I walked back and forth on an inflamed knee. Was refused a refund....even though I wasn't given keys that worked....they even have the right stock for it.Had another incident with their nostrand location where I travelled all the way from their flatbush location for a copy and they tried to charge me 5$ more than the value quoted at their other location on flatbush.I wouldn't recomend any of their locations unless you look over 30 and you're Male. After that it seems like customer service is thrown right out the window.

There are good locksmith shop I haven't gone there to get a key made that they didn't have the blank for. It's also a pretty decent hardware store. I gave it four stars because the service is good but not top-notch.

This place sold me new lock assemblies for my outside Gates and within a couple of months the handles and locks they installed rusted and fell apart. I called the store and complained but got the run around from the employees. I felt that they picked my pockets very well.

As of March 3rd on a Sunday in 2019, I called the place to ask them if they had a mailbox key the guy told me he did when I got there they didn't. the quality of the service there is very very poor the guy treated me as if I wasn't a customer almost as if to tell me to get out of his face and they're not a 24-hour locksmith

I called them because the door knob on the main door kept falling off.I text them a picture of the lock and it was handled professionally and accurately. All I needed was a door knob, not a whole lock. They do not sell you what is not necessary. I will definitely use them for all my lock needs.

Online says that they're open 24 hours but when I arrived there at 8 am the gates were up, lights were on and the door was locked. I called and was told they're opening up at 9 am.

I'm appalled at what just conspired. I called the company to explain that my tenant was just locked out of her apartment and ask if they can come help her. I asked how much this will cost and he said it would be $45 for just showing up and then whatever the cost of the work. I proceeded to ask what that amount could be from what $ to what $. He started saying something about 45 plus 75 depending on what work needed to be done, but when I tried to clarify further he hung up on me. That should have been my red flag. Still, my tenant was locked out and I was desperate. I called back and asked him to pls send someone right away. The locksmith, to his credit, showed up very quickly and realized there was nothing wrong w the door and my tenant simply didn't know how to use one of the locks properly. He called me and explained that everything was fine and in working order and my bill is $163 and change. What?! For driving two blocks and realizing the door isn't broken? I told him I wasn't aware that their minimum is $150 , that I tried to understand the prices on the phone and the dispatcher never told me this. I even said let's be reasonable and come up with a reasonable number. He was super arrogant and threatened me telling me what he would do if we didn't pay. I was very respectful and tried to talk to him about this and he wouldn't hear me out and just kept threatening us. My tenant was afraid for her kids and repeatedly told him he was being hostile. It was a truly scary situation. He even told me I should be grateful he didn't come and lie that we have a broken lock and drill it out and charge us $375 plus. Seriously? I should be grateful that a legal company didn't try to scheme me?! Gross.We paid the man, even though he didn't deserve it. Had they been upfront with me I would have booked them and known what to expect or I wouldn't have wasted their time. I just spent the last 30 minutes crying from this awful experience. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Less than two years after having a cylinder changed by them, they would not take responsibility for the piece of garbage they sold me. Now I need to spend more money changing my cylinder & replacing keys. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH! BUNCHA SCUMBAGS

My wife's bag was stolen while we were in times square. I called Brooklyn's Best Locksmith driving back from Manhattan to meet me at my house to change my locks. We were afraid and concerned that thieves had my address from my wife's ID and my house keys. They made it to my house before me, which put me at ease from the beginning. They went over various options from changing the cylinders, to making the key different for the locks, to offering a few high security options. They offered their professional opinion and believe it or not it was one of the more cost effective options. My overall experience in dealing with them was great. They were prompt, professional and didn't take me to the cleaners while I was in a very venerable state. I recommend Brooklyn's Best Locksmith any day of the week.
