I must show tremendous gratitude for Ash, the locksmith who was my hero during this pandemic! He respected that there are high risk people in my home. He literally came in, changed the locks within minutes while we quarantined upstairs. Ash treated me like family with kindness, respect and professionalism he charged a more than fair price. Moving to a new house is stressful along with all of the associated tasks that need to be completed. Security is very important to my husband and I, so naturally, replacing our locks was first priority since we had no idea who had copies of our key after the house was on the market for a while. Ash could not have been nicer or easier to work with. He alleviated so much stress in the moving process. He was easily available and accommodated our schedule. He met with my husband and I in our home, explained our options, providing both catalogs and also samples of the various locks and he was also was able to provide feedback regarding style of lock to match the aesthetic of our home (an added bonus!). My husband and I were eager to have our new locks installed and Ash provided multiple updates on when the locks would be ready as they were a custom job. As soon as the locks arrived in his shop, he quickly set up an installation date. When the day arrived, he was punctual and efficient. He also took the time to make sure my husband and I were happy with the job. Ash had us try each of the locks individually and made sure we both felt comfortable with our new locks. Pricing wise, he was very fair and comparable, if not better, than the other quotes we received.I could not recommend Advance Lock and Key enough. I will definitely be using them in the future for all of our security needs.

I had gone to the dealer to try and get a key for my car and they wanted $450 for it. Ash at advance lick and key did the same key for $65. The day before my trip, I lose the spare key for my car. Not feeling safe traveling with just one key, I headed to the locksmiths. I called 3 locksmiths and Advance Lock and Key came in with the lowest price by far. Ash took very good care of me, he took me right away, cut the key then went to the car to program the remote. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Will recommend highly.

I cant say enough good things about this place. Quality, Service and Professionalism are unparalleled. Came in for a spare key for my 2013 Toyota Tacoma and it happened to be one of the only keys they didnt have on hand. Ash was extremely kind and helpful and gave me a $20 discount because they didnt have the key on hand. 3 days later it came and within minutes it was programmed and ready to go. I also needed two spare keys for my house and a hide-a-key pouch they had there, and he gave them to me AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! Again cant say enough good things. This is the best stocked Locksmith shop I have ever stepped into. If they don't have a blank for the key you need they can probably get it for you quickly and inexpensively. Their stock of blanks is amazing! And, if you're a skeleton key and old lock collector like me, you will love this place even more.

This company deserves more than 5 stars!!! I lost my push start car keys and with everything going in I was so afraid my car was parked unlocked for almost 2 days. I called around a few places to get a quote and was discouraged how pricey it was. But then I called Advance Lock & Key And spoke to Ash who not only gave me a great deal on replacing my key but he also made it his business to come to me on the same day despite his schedule being tight and he would be working after office hours. I would recommend this company to anyone. They are an honest company truly working for the people! When I called other places they did not ask for much information or vehicle identification and that worried me a bit. Ash was direct about his business he needed all vehicle identification and proof of ownership before coming out to open the vehicle and guaranteed an original key for our vehicle. Ash treated me like family and had me back in my vehicle and on the road as soon as he could. I am very grateful and satisfied with the service .

Highly recommend this locksmith for all of your home and vehicle needs. My key fob was damaged due to pandemic sterilizing 4 or 5 times a day and fell apart. Ash quickly replaced it and programmed it for me for way less than the dealership wanted. Also had trouble getting locked out of a spare room in our garage. Ash removed and changed our locks in 10 minutes. Great service, prompt, reasonable prices. 'Lock' their number in your phone for any future potential emergencies. Ash is the best!

I visited Advance Lock and Key store to order a deadbolt replacement on our apartment entrance doorBefore that, I had called several stores and spoke to several people regarding the job, and only Ash at Advance Lock and Key had sounded really professional to me. When you talk with this person, you see that he knows what he is talking about and has real experience in various types of door locks and their quality. So I came to the store with photos of my door, Ash looked at them and advised me what deadbolt is best for my door. He convincingly explained to me why the door deadbolt that he recommended was better than the one I had in mind before talking to him. So I followed his recommendation and made a job appointment with him. He came exactly at appointment time and did his job quickly and reliably. The deadbolt that he installed is working perfectly well now. While he was working, I could see that he was a really experienced locksmith, he did his job so easily and smoothly. Also, Ash is a very nice person, and it is a pleasure to deal with him.If you need help with locks, such as buying, installing, replacing, etc. door locks for a car or home, I recommend that you contact Ash Wexler at Advance Lock and Key. This is the best customer service Ive had in a very long time. Ash is someone who makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. He is very personable- HES MY BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER. I went for an extra 5 button key fob for my 2013 Nissan Altima. Not only did I get an Original key at a Great Price, he was done in about 10 minutes maybe less. I spent much more time just talking with him after he was done. I felt like he was my family. I had wanted a designer key made and when I tell you that they had a tremendous variety, Im not kidding. I was overwhelmed with options that I loved! Our keys were stolen, and I needed the locks changed on my house post haste. I called Ash on a Saturday morning, and he was there in less than two hours. He changed the cylinders on three doors as well as the handle on my front door and charged a very reasonable fee. He literally dropped what he was doing to take care of my needs. So i was trying to get a spare key made for my 88' BMW and most of the places on the Island didn't want to even try because the OEM spare blank keys i had was a little pricey. I saw Advance lock and Key and figured to give it a try, the guys inside were cool people and Ash the owner not only said he would do it, but he guaranteed his work! He got both spares done in minutes and they worked perfectly, so yeah, I would recommend this place.

Advance Lock in Staten Island took care of all my key needs in minutes. I brought in my own China made key to get cut and those keys are usually bigger than OEM keys. Ash (the owner) told me about this problem and made sure I understood that the key might not work and he doesnt want me to spend money that isnt needed.
