I was looking for a locksmith to help me secure my front door I bought a Schlage keypad lock but it just would not lock. I called Top Notch Locksmith. They had a 5 star rating and good reviews. I thought they would be perfect for the job. When I called they had a alleged locksmith call me it was very hard to hear and understand this person due to a thick accent unknown what type. He gets to my house and change the face plate. I was not present my husband was there. One hour later I got home to discover the door still didnt lock. I called Top Notch back to inform them of the situation. I spoke to SEVERAL people giving me the serious run around stating they would have the technician call me back. I informed them that that wouldnt be good enough due to the speech barrier I requested he return to complete the job that I had already paid $165.00 for. Well 7 calls and 3 hrs later we speak to a female identifying herself as a manager telling me if I didnt check the door while the technician was there it is no longer their problem. WHAT!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Oh and please dont let me forget that the technician never gave a receipt????? After several request for a receipt I received one via email which looked like a generic learning example on a test paper the price and a invoice number no company name or technician name or identifying number. Last but not least after 7 calls I received a call from a gentleman finally someone with some professionalism and knowledge. He walked me through the locking mechanism that worked. They say the customer is always right not a this company they play pass the buck and with the exception of Mr Daniel this company is a waste of time and money how they have a five star rating is beyond me, I wouldnt refer them to my worst enemy.
