I went into this store today and that old man was sweet as he could be to me. I sat down as they were busy waiting on a gentleman ahead of me. When it became my turn, he walked up to me as I started to stand up and he said, Oh no, you sit, Ill wait on you from there. I had a lot of keys to make and each time, he returned to where I was sitting to get the next key. This went on for several rounds of keys. He couldnt have been more accommodating. He spoke of his leg problems, and that he almost stayed home today. I for one, am glad he didnt. He is trying to do the best he can do, to earn a living in a society who kicks the aging to the curb. We all will become old one day and if were lucky will be grumpy from time to time. Show some grace and understanding and it will come back to you ten fold.

Needed a new electronic key for Honda CRV. Doug ordered the part, and had the job done in 10 minutes! After being jerked around by Stevenson Honda, it was a pleasure dealing with Doug. They are very busy there, so it is best to come in when they open, and ask for Doug. Thanks for a great job!

I visited the A-1 folks needing my Honda car fob fixed. Cracked and not working. GREAT people. In and out in 15 minutes. Not many people work on car sets but these guys came recommended. They laughed when I mentioned the local car dealer. $52.00 for them and out the door versus $130.00 for Mr. Honda. Highly recommend these people. Very friendly and great to spend time with.

Locksmith there disassembled my lock and attempted to repair. When he couldn't make the repair because US parts wouldn't fit (it was a European lock), her put it back together, apologized and charged me nothing for his time. I like people who are honest and knowledgeable. Would happily do business with them again (but on US locks).

first off I have been going there for years now it is just around the corner from my house, I have had other keys made for toolboxes in the past with no problem the guy would walk out with a set of keys and see what fit and made a copy, but today I went there and the old guy walked out and said in a unhappy tone 'oh you have to git the paint off it I can't read the number' and walked back in. so I gathered that with his attitude he did not want my business so I went to find a new locksmith.Found one Pop a Lock here in Wilmington, the young man drove to my house, had no problem reading the number the old guy said he couldn't read made two keys in less then 5 minutes and only charged me a few dollars so I gave him a nice tip and said I would recommend him to others.

I've been trying to get a key cut for my car for almost a month now. I've left my number to see if they had a blank twice and every time I call back they still haven't checked. I called again today and the man on the phone kept talking down to me in a condescending manner and told me to call back when theyre open. If you are closed why even answer the phone?Evidently they don't want my money so I'm perfectly happy paying $100 for a key off the internet now.
