John is an honest man doing honest work. He didn't overcharge and kept the price as low as he could. Those under his tutelage were polite and earnest. They informed us of problems and educated us on how we could deal with them ourselves to save money. This is the first time I have ever had a good impression left on me from an automotive service expert in Wilmington in 12 years.

John Bennett and his mechanics at Reliable Roadside Service are true professionals! They changed out the engine in my 2018 Audi A3, along with brakes and rotors and did a tremendous job in a timely manner. They completed the repairs for a great price as well. Stuck in a parking lot on a Sunday morning with a destroyed wheel bearing on my boat trailer over 100 miles from home. John and Kaye came to the rescue. They arrived in a timely manner, got what was left of the old destroyed bearings off and slapped a new set in. To top it off there wasn't an exorbitant price tacked on for a Sunday call out. 100 percent recommend these folks and if I ever find myself in a bad spot again, they will be my first phone call. Thanks again guys!

I am more than pleased with the level of excellence reliable roadside services provide for their costumers. I had a blown tire and John was at my house within an hour of me calling him. He was able to find the best-priced tire for me. I experienced a flat tire after a day of reliable roadside services repair. However, that was not an issue, John sent one of his guys to come right away to fix the issue. Reliable roadside ensure the car is 100% good to go and safe for driving before all work is complete!

I walked out to my car to go to work and noticed my tire was completely flat. I don't have a spare tire, so I googled roadside assistance in Wilmington and called Reliable Roadside Services. They were at my car in less than 10 minutes and had my tire fixed in no time! I was expecting to pay a lot more, but it cost only a fraction of what I thought! I called Reliable Roadside Service and John was there in no time. What a wonderful guy! He not only changed the flat tire, he patched it for us. I woke up today feeling like I NEED to write the owner a 5 star review!!! I also know my review will not come close to doing him justice, but Im compelled to do it anyways. He was SO unbelievably kind to me and extremely knowledgeable in automotive repairs. This guy is fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced. Girlfriends car wouldnt start at dollar general in wilmington and he was there in 10 minutes, diagnosed the problem, took her to get the part, fixed it and ready to go in an hour or less and charged $80 for all he did! Id recommend him to anyone that breaks down near Wilmington NC!

John and Kaye are a great car 'rescue' team! I needed their help to get my old (very old!) car started several times, when I thought it was 'just' the battery. John diagnosed the starter was bad and replaced it in my driveway where it had died once again. Several service calls, the new starter and labor were all surprisingly affordable, even to a frugal person like myself! Yesterday my NEW car wouldn't start and I didn't hesitate to call on John again. A few minutes later he arrived, checked out the electrical system, gave me needed info and advice (and a jump start!) and I was on my way. For me part of 'adulting' is knowing who to call in an automotive emergency. And now you know who to call, too! Thanks, John and Kaye!

How often have you had a mechanic look at you after your repairs were done and say, Welp? We got good news and GOOD news.? Not only did he come to ME to repair my car... not ONLY did he diagnose and pinpoint the actual problem with my car.... not ONLY did it cost HALF what I thought it would be.... he did all the work needed on my car IN THE RAIN. He came out at night for 35 dollars and not only unlocked my car but somehow figured out on my newer Nissan model how to open the trunk when my keys were inside and there was no way into the trunk from the inside ! Insane right ? He was calm and treated us like family! Low rates and great service. He deserves more than five stars!

Nicest and most personable help!!! Makes you feel at ease! I have been having trouble starting my Jeep even with a jump and just a click click noise. Our daughter is a student at UNCW and her battery light came on this morning as she made the long drive back to campus. After a google search, we took a chance and called John see if he could help us. Four hours later, and my daughter has a new alternator and never had to leave campus! John came to the lot she was parked in, diagnosed the problem, called to say what needed to be done and for how much, and then again to let us know when the work was finished. To say we are impressed would be an understatement. Since our daughter is 3 hours away from home, we are glad to know John and the service he provides should she ever need anything in the future. And we will be passing his number on to other family members in the Wilmington area.

I had a nail in my tire and I unfortunately discovered this on a Sunday when most car repair shops are closed or slammed due to limited hours. I couldnt find a single place in town that was able to fix it same day. I was referred to Reliable Roadside Services by my dad and when I called, John was able to meet me where I was within 20 minutes. He plugged my tire right there on the spot and I havent had any issues with it ever since!! He also has a good sense of humor. Highly recommend!!
