I needed a key made for the bed cover of my truck. After the owner discovered some damage in the lock mechanism, he told me he could make the key but it might not work. He spent 30 minutes of his time and didn't charge me. Now that is Honesty !! When I get the replacement lock, I will have him install it to reward him for his integrity and professionalism.

Amazing service. Came out first thing to my place and had a key made for my Triumph Daytona 675. Instantly identified the last place I had make my key (snap n crack), used the wrong style key for the job and was able to make me the correct one on the spot that fit all my key slots, unlike the other that barely fit my gas tank. I had a non-working lock on my entry door. I stopped into Craleys in hopes the lock could be repaired. Jim answered all my questions and explained what made my lock different and why it wasn't something that could be fixed. He spent some time on the phone trying to track down a replacement before suggesting I leave my name and number so I could get on with my day and that he would get back to me with what he found. Less than 2 hours later Jim called with a phone number for me to call. He had discovered the lock was under warranty and provided me with all the information I needed to get it replaced free of charge. He wasn't required to any of the homework he did on my behalf and could of simply sold me a new lock. It was obvious that he is very knowledgeable about his work but I also found out he is honest and has a very rare thing called integrity.

Our car was stolen in the morning (the key ring had our house keys on it too) and after getting other companies quoting a service date of 3 days later, I called Craley's and they were able to dispatch someone quickly and same day! The tech arrived a few minutes early, was helpful, courteous and quick. We paid the same as what was quoted and my house was safe again. Hoping to get our car recovered, if so I'll be calling Craley's to get that re-keyed too.

When I originally called, Jim was straightforward in giving me answers to many questions I had about replacing a key fob for my car. He even made sure when I was comparing prices that I was asking the right questions and getting the right product. After shopping around Jim was lower than the dealer and other lock companies when it came to pricing. Tyler at the shop did an amazing job in programming the actual key fob. Perfect service and saved me money and time!I went for a duplicate Jeep key and had bought blanks online, made in China. I was informed that these keys often do not work so he offered to order me a new, genuine Jeep key with remote. Went to the shop and 10 minutes later I was on the road again! Great service!

I recently purchased a motorcycle with one key. Instead of going to the dealership and getting charged hundreds of dollars for a duplicate, I sought out local locksmiths per a recommendation online on forums. I called Craleys Lock Company and Frank answered. He assured me that not only did they have a key blank on hand for Yamaha motorcycles, but that it could be done within minutes. I hate that I forgot to write this review last year. The service and rates were first class. I needed to have a lock cylinder replaced in my Toyota. He did everything possible to unstick the tumblers so I could use my original parts. Even with that, his professionalism and mood were terrific. I highly recommend him as a first choice in locksmith needs in Central Ohio.

I have passed this place to and from my way home on countless occasions. I had a recent mishap with a lost key to my vehicle. I contacted not 1, not 2, but 3 Ford Dealerships for them to tell me that not only would I need to purchase the key at $35 & but pay an additional $135 for programming of the key. They also noted I would need an appointment and could not do it same day. Nervous I would lose my spare keys, I knew I had to act fast. I thought that I saw a place who makes keys next to the Gahanna Lanes Bowling Ally and immediately traveled to Craleys. When I pulled up, I was greeted by a man outside working on a project with another gentleman. I was welcomed to sit inside to wait and was greeted again within another five minutes of playing with a fidget spinner attached to a pen in the front office. Once the man came in I gave him the rundown and it was all history. I was out the door in 5 minutes with a brand new car key, programmed and all for $79 A big thank you to Craleys for a quick and painless job well done. Who knew that such a small and legitimate business could do such a good job. This is one of the good ones. A much better deal than all dealerships and theyve now earned a return customer. Hopefully I wont flush another pair of keys down the toilet. Cheers!

In February, purchased a motorcycle from a private owner and he only had 1 key. I have spent months trying to find someone to make me a copy. Everyone who could do it , which were few, wanted $40 for the blank alone. On a whim I contacted Craley's. Not only could they do it, they quoted me two at half of what the others wanted for one. To top that, we had missed each other and I received a call and the shop reopened and rescheduled. I'm happy to say I now have three keys to my bike. THANK YOU, GUYS!!! My 2006 Honda Element ignition switch lock froze up so I called Germain Honda for a repair. I was quoted almost $900.00. I looked on-line on how to remove the switch myself and found it easy to do. I took the switch to Craley's Lock Company after reading a similar review to mine. He completely rebuilt the switch for only $65.00! I then reinstalled the switch in the Element in about 20 minutes and it works perfectly. Great service, even better price!!!
