Guy showed up acted like he didn't know what he was doing. Told me he would have to drill the lock out then I ended up doing most of it ourselves and still had to pay him! What a rip off!!!! Will never use them again!

I lost my key to my car, the key man arrived shortly after I called. he knew exactly what needed to be done. also gave me a remote to work my car as well. this guy has EVERYTHING in his van - very impressive ! definitely got my LIKE !!

Mike threatened to shoot me after giving 5 harassing phone calls he made to my phone. The pricing is ridiculous which is what I told Mike but i didnt expect it would lead to him threatening to end my life. Do not use unless mikes in a good mood, Im guessing he was forced in to this line of work because he was rude and gave me attitude the entire time we were on the phone. I have filed a police report because of the threats to my life and the harassing phone calls.

Needed to gain access to our safe as the batteries, which are located on the inside of the safe, were dislodged during a recent move. Additionally, I did not have a backup key. I was very worried the safe would need to be cut open, which meant I'd also have to buy a new safe in addition to the locksmith expense. When I reached out to the company they were incredibly responsive, via email, phone, and text message. I felt as though I knew exactly what would happen through the entire process. My tech, Mike, kept in touch on the day of the service and was incredibly friendly and detailed upon arriving. He explained all options and within minutes was able to pick the lock! This saved time, money, and the safe. I could not be happier with the service I received and will gladly recommend the company, but specifically Mike, to anyone needing a locksmith!

This place is the best. Mike provided awesome service. I was blown away by how quickly they got a technician to us. My wife locked her keys in the car at the grocery and I was half an hour away from her. . . I called 6 different places, several of which were '24 hours a day' service. Of the 3 that answered, one was 'booked for the night,' and one said he couldn't help until Saturday morning. Thankfully I called Columbus Local Locksmith. They really are 24 hours a day. Mike came out, worked quickly, and was so professional. You won't regret calling them!

Columbus Local Locksmith, is by far the best service (Small business) Ive corresponded and worked with in the Columbus Area. After attempting to have locks changed by other services, I got in touch with Eric, the owner of the company. Eric assured me that the service could be done and would be completed by one of his technicians during the after-hours. Unfortunately, the lockbox I needed wasnt in stock with their suppliers. Needless to say...the job wasnt going to be able to be done until the next morning, when Lowes opened for business. I was upset by this...really upset...especially after dealing with countless other businesses in Columbus who dropped the ball. I was even more upset because, right before I set the appointment with Eric, I was on the phone with another locksmith who had a technician at Lowes with money in hand to purchase a lockbox. However, Erics confidence, phone manner and competitive prices ultimately won me over -- I mean, we buy from who we like, right? Ive never had such AMAZING service from a business owner! Eric literally promised me that despite whatever it would take to ensure the job would be completed in next couple of hours, he would make sure it was done. He was NOT kidding! Eric literally went to my home, at 10:48pm, changed the locks, didnt try to upsell or upcharge me and provided the service in a few minutes. The funny thing is, this is a simple rookie job, he explained. Meanwhile...I spent 2 days trying to find a locksmith that wasnt charging me $400 over the average price, providing me terrible service or willing to video record the lock change for me. Eric did this all SEAMLESSLY and he didnt have to! I wouldve likely accepted his technician coming out the next morning. Heres the thing...He CARES! He cares about his customers. He believes that treating his customers well is what feeds his family. (I know...we spoke about it) I was VERY IMPRESSED & APPRECIATIVE, to say the least. Eric will not fail you...hes great to work with and Im sure, would be great to work for. If you have a problem with locks, and you need it done NOW, you can TRUST, Eric and Columbus Local Locksmith.
