I am an adulting teen who knows nothing. When I called I was so nervous but the receptionist was so nice and explained everything thoroughly. When the workers came to fix my car they were very nice and patient with me. They explained all the steps they would be taking to fix my car and were very respectful! Hopefully I wont need to fix my car soon lol but if I ever do I will definitely be coming back to Michaels Keys! I definitely recommend this service to everyone.

wonderful experience with Brett very informative and straight to the point , sadly couldnt get the key to program with my vehicle (due to my own vehicle issues none of which is their fault) and didnt charge me for the time he spent on it defintely will be returning for future locksmithing needs

Even though my keys weren't in my car, I was very surprised as to how professional and quickly they opened it up. WITHOUT any damages to my vehicle. I just wanted to say that I couldn't have been more disappointed with this business. I called ahead to see if they could program a new FOB that I got for my 2011 Toyota Tundra and they said that they could. I drove a 1/2 hour there and the guy with the blond beard tried twice and just handed my keys back and said that they couldn't do it. He said that there was probably something wrong with my vehicle as if it was my fault!! I asked if he wanted to try again and he just said no and walked off!! No apology for dragging me down there or anything!! I found a different locksmith and he did it in under 60 seconds because he had a device to program the FOB unlike these guys who were trying a manual programming. The bottom line is they don't know what they are doing and they will waste your time they way they wasted mine... DON'T BOTHER!!!!

These guys probably just saved me hundreds of dollars (if not a couple thousand) in bypassing the cost of having to tow my vehicle to a mechanic with whom I could not have trusted the simple task of repairing my ignition in an honest and secure way. Jeff Eubanks came out in the heat of the day and got the job done quickly - no trouble. He made the exact repair I requested (very different from a mechanic or dealership) and I was charged exactly the price they quoted when I called (plus tax). They will have my future business, which I am convinced is only a small expression of my gratitude.

My in-laws were there today. If I could give him a zero stars I would. He treated my elderly family completely disrespectfully. When he said it would take an hour, they stated they would wait. They did not feel comfortable driving around waiting (they were too far from home), he told them they could not. He said the parking was for customers and it might actually take 5 hours. All they were wanting was a good place to get a new key cut and they ended up leaving with nothing and feeling disrespected.

Some dude in there working cussed me out cause the wind blew open the front door and knocked some of their merchandise down. Clearly it wasnt on purpose I cant control the damn weather. He was a total jackass I cant believe they allow people to act that way to customers.

I don't ever normally write reviews but I felt that I should let anyone know that using Michael's Keys to install a safe is a huge mistake. Unfortunately in my situation I used a safe manufacturing company out of California and they use Michael's Keys as their installer for the Dallas area. They charged an extreme amount to do the initial install during a new home build and told our project managers to give them a call when it is ready for a bolt down. I called them when the house was nearing completion to bolt down the safe and was told it would only cost $55. On the day that they were supposed to come out I get a call from one of their ladies who was extremely rude saying that we didn't mention that the safe needed to be moved a few feet out to connect the wires in the back and said that they were going to charge me $200 to literally move it out a few feet. Seriously?? The safe isn't even being moved to a different area just moved out no more than 2 feet. She even forgot to mention that we needed to pay for the service call when I called originally and when I asked her why these costs were so exorbitant she didn't even bother to allow me to speak with someone who is higher up. Needless to say I cancelled the appointment and requested to cease all further business. I have also contacted the manufacturer to inform them of such a poor company and that they should consider someone who isn't going to treat their customers with a rude demeanor and will not price gouge you.

It says 24hr service and called 3 times rings and rings and hangs up no answering machine no call back its 10pm and I'm 130 miles from home

I don't normally write reviews, especially negative ones, but this place does not deserve your business. I called on Thursday for a locksmith to come out to make a new key for my car, he told me after working on my car for a few hours that he couldn't complete the job today but would return on Sunday with more supplies and a guaranteed completion. He charged me what he claimed was 'the company minimum' of $150 for Labor (which he tacked on an extra $25 to), and never returned. No key was given, no progress was made, just my wallet being lighter. Don't contact these people.

My daughter has the only key to the car and refuses to give it to me and I discussed that with them, they refused to make my a key. Their excuse is they dont get into family conflict! What family conflict? All I needed was a key for my car. O well taking my business elsewhere.

Great customer service, quick to work and the locksmiths are very nice and professional. Jon and Derek are very professional and I recommend Michael's Keys to any and everyone needing key and lock service. I must add, I think they are very reasonably priced, great service is hard to come by and it isn't cheap either!

It was a commercial keyless entry lock that I ended up giving up on installing myself after a major 'fail'. J.D. had me up and running within a short period of time. Omg don't call these people they are worse, the lady I spoke told me it would be 165 plus taxes to cut me a key and I was telling her I don't have a problem with my key just my keyless entry fob that turns off my alarm she keep telling they would have to cut a key and I am like I DON'T have a key prinlem I have my key I am jutj trying to program a fob to get my car off security mode. They don't seem to know anything about keyless entry fob don't waste your time calling them
