I wish I could give zero stars. Very unorganized and unprofessional. I was told by technician he would arrive in 15 minutes and 30 minutes later I had to call him. Upset about the lack of communication I told him I wouldnt need his service any more, even though I was still in a bind but willing to call someone else, and his first reply was how much did you pay?. Not An apology for running late and not having the common sense to at least call me. I would have waited. I was in a bind. But instead he was more curious about how much I paid to resolve the issue when I was still in a bind. Anyone in Houston has to be better than this company. Call anyone else. I was in the oak forest area. 0 stars.

I locked my self out of house luckily had my iPhone. I read reviews and called for a price which was reasonable and included every not just a trip charge. Francisco gave me a time and called then texted updates. He came got me in replaced locks to match key which was inside. He was courteous, did good work and made it a positive experience leaving me satisfied with the work and. Having had this happen before. The lock Smith quoted one price it was a trip charge then tacked on multiple charges and I ended up paying 250$This is honest good work this a first choice 5 stars on service and result

I was charged $129. Service was great, but the perspective is KEY here. I have an old truck that took the tech literally 3 minutes to pop open. Two minutes to inflate the two inflatables on the edge of the door and a rod/hook to open the door. Price was never discussed until the very end, which ended up being $129. I was then asked if I wanted to give a tip that started off at $20. I want to post the pricing so that transparency is shown if you're going to use them. They got the job done and were transparent about when they were going to arrive, but transparency on price... no. The flat-based fee does not reflect the effort contributed to each locked vehicle. How do you expect me to be happy with this valuation?

I cannot thank these guys enough for helping me get my keys after locking my truck and leaving them inside lol I know its a funny mistake. Ron got to my location in just 5 min! And the service was fast and affordable compared to getting your ride towed or something. Would highly recommend this business for any of your needs related to locks and security.

I needed a smart keypad lock to our frond office door for a while, Initially we contact our office building management to send one of their maintenance guys to install the lock.Not only it took a week to get the guy out to our office after two days of work in our office he finely gave up and said it was too complicated for him.A goof friend of mine recommended Alamo lock and key as a good company to use. We called and the tech showed up with in the hour, A half an hour later he was done with the job. Fast reliable and professional.

Highly recommend Alamo if you're needing Locksmith services! Their technician Javier was fantastic on a recent job I hired them for! He quickly assessed and solved the issue I was experiencing with a lock at my home. His professionalism and very kind demeanor came across instantly. Horrible company to deal with! My husband explained the problem that we were having with our ignition/steering column being locked and being unable to start the car when we called them. The make, model of the car, etc. was given over the phone. They told us they could fix it. They sent someone out who did not know what he was doing AT ALL!! He came out & told us they did not carry the ignition for my vehicle and was unable to copy the code to make another key. I would much rather a company tell me they cannot help me than to have me waiting late at night by my car and they dont even have the parts in the first place to even solve the problem; then STILL CHARGE ME! When I told them over the phone ahead of time the type of vehicle I had...this company is all about money & not helping customers in need! Oh and then when we complained about having to pay for them to come out to DO NOTHING! The owner was nice enough to offer to send someone to fix it for $375!! So I guess he knew he was sending someone who couldnt fix it...and when we turned that down, he threatened to tow our car if we didnt PAY THEM FOR DOING NOTHING!!

Such an awesome job! We were locked out of our apartment and they showed up in 15 minutes and super affordable! $89 which was great because other companies was over $100. Super fast and easy. I needed several keys rekeyed. Alamo Key's service was great. Ron was polite, punctual and professional...all for a fair price. After Ron left, later on in the day, I discovered one of the keys was not working quite right with 2 of my locks. I let him know and he was more than willing to return and fix it. My wife locked the key in the trunk of our car. I hope she never reads this since I called her out! I Googled locksmiths in the area and after getting 'all our techs are busy' and a direct to voicemail from a couple that I called, I called and was directly connected with Ron at Alamo Key & Lock and who was empathetic and just asked me to text him the address and was there within 30 minutes and to help out and super affordable! Friendly, responsive and affordable and we were good to go! As I told him, I hope to not need a locksmith again LOL but if I do, I HIGHLY recommend Ron. Thanks again!

I'm sure this was expected. Sent someone whos not really apart of the company to come out and quote me for work. $1200. Ok i requested for 3 weeks that they come out and perform the service. They did not. Finally got the 'real' service quote for $600 more although I was made to wait and the quote i was previously provided was significantly less. Ok. Wanted to charge an additional $400 to complete the work entirely. I spent $100 and did it myself. I should've have spent $600 and did the whole thing myself. 2 stars because they did the project that I waited 6 weeks for, in 60 minutes.. But I suppose it's my fault for taking the easy route and paying someone else to do it, and at the end... a $80 discount... Dont use them for big projects, it confuses the hell out of them.

The gentleman who helped me was Ron, he did an awesome job in a timely fashion and had great communication skills in letting me know where he was and how fast he would be arriving. I just wanted to thank the gentlemen that I spoke with today about getting my car key fob replaced. Once I explained the situation that I was having, he honestly and politely told me to take it to my nearest Auto Zone and they could fix it, and sure enough they did. This gentlemen could have ripped me off and charged me for what turned out to be a simple fix or gave me the run around but he didn't and for his integrity I am thankful and wanted to leave a 5 star review.
