Dont use their locksmith service!!! Seattle mobile locksmith? Seattle key locksmith? Locksmith services?I locked myself out of my apartment on the night of Mar 18th. I am 100% angry about the service they provided. First of all, they sent someone over saying the guy should arrive in 15 minutes. I waited for 30 minutes and called again, but the guy said, I called you and you said you cancelled. I never received the phone call and I never cancelled!! So they sent another guy, who kept me waiting for another 25 minutes.Second, the quote they gave me was like $29 for calling out the service and $50-$100 and something depending on the lock and whether we need to replace the lock. After the guy arrived, he tried several tools including a pull (using which you can pull the handle from inside the door to unlock), and with each tool it at least took him 10 minutes. I had high expectation for the pull to work because I DO KNOW that the door will open from inside if you pull the handle. But he just cannot get it work, whether on purpose or not. So he finally told me, we need to replace the lock, and its another $85, let alone the $29 + $115 he was already asking. I asked him to at least try once more with the pull, he refused (twice) and said Ive already tried like 10 times and it just doesnt open, I dont know why, it must be your lock.Third, when we finally agreed replacing the lock was the only way to go, I asked how long that would take and he said at most 20 minutes, which turned out to be another hour. Hes just so lame. And based on all the facts above, I highly doubt he lied about the lock and was being dishonest all the time as well. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TRICK CUSTOMERS!!!So in total it cost me $29 + $115 + $85 + $23 tax = $252, and a total of 4 hours to get back in my own apartment. Money being one issue, I was most upset about the experience. Please avoid this business provider.I want to complain about Google as well. What is Google Guaranteed, when the search result is not repeatable, and I cannot get the company info again by just searching Seattle Mobile Locksmith? Also, the service guy told me their company name was Seattle Key Locksmith, not matching the search result either. All Google gave me was a number I thought I could trust under an urgent situation, and then I only ended up feeling confused, angry and fooled.(Pictures below being the first time I searched and called using the call button; searching for 2nd and 3rd times using different company names; searching using the actual number; the receipt I received, which showed even another company name, so I am really confused about their name right now, and how Google guaranteed that :))

$100 and 45minutes later. Car door needed to be opened. He started at $150. That's the gist. Service guy was nice, took him 15 min with a flex stick to pull the handle to open door. to unlock my car. The guy on the phone didn't want to give a quote, you should demand it! There's another Seattle locksmith down the road with spread out drivers, Be ready with your closest physical address. I would expect this to cost $60 from a competitive locksmith.

VERY sketchy. The amount I was quoted over the phone was not much more than the $30 service fee. When the technicians arrived, they tried and failed to pick the lock, then told me it was too high quality and that they would have to drill the lock, which would cost $300 for the new lock and key. They also did not ask me for ID or proof of residence. Ultimately I thanked them for their time and stayed with a friend until my apartments leasing office opened.Not to accuse this company of anything, but a lot of this lines up with well-known locksmith scams. Theres an article in the NYT detailing the tactics they use. The average cost of a home entry call is about $100. You should be immediately suspicious of quotes that are much higher than this. Get a quote over the phone, and if the amount quoted on site is several times higher, dont sign!

Game Changer

I don't normally leave reviews but these guys were amazing!! Chris was just closing up shop last night and I had locked my keys in my car across the street. He had me back into my car in minutes and did it all with a smile! I didn't even know there were actual locksmiths left in Downtown Seattle and I thought good customer service was a thing of the past! I would give these guys 10 Stars if I could! Highly recommend!

The person I talked to on the phone to report the problem was extremely rude. I asked how long it would be for someone to come assist with a lockout and was told 'who knows lady.' Over 3 hours later, someone showed up, looked at the lock, and then went back to their car where they sat for 20 minutes talking on the phone and smoking. From start to finish, they made a bad situation much worse.
