I had a key that was sheared off in the toolbox of my truck. They were able to make an additional key from my broken one! Other places around town couldn't do it! I'm quite happy with the service.....unfortunately 2 plain, simple keys were pretty expensive at $17! Still, they were able to do work that others couldn't. These guys are professional and good at what they do!

I called to explain my emergency situation and they assured me they would be there at 9:00 a.m. the next day. I took off work to be there and they didn''t show up. I called at 9:30 and was told the locksmith had other jobs and would be there later in the day. I asked for a call back, which I did not receive until 11:15. By that time I had called Yakima Lock & Safe and they were just finishing up the job. WORST way to treat the customer - shame on you Valley Lock & Key! I am giving you one star ONLY because I couldn't put zero stars!

The old man behind the desk is very rude. I will never ever use this shop for my business again.... Truly just unbelievably disrespectful to a paying customer. He needs to take a class on customer service or stay far away from the customers as that attitude will lose them a lot of business. I will be recommending Yakima lock and safe to everyone I know and making sure I steer everyone I know away from valley lock and key. Terrible business.

No show, No call, no nothing. Just totally neglected the job, and said, 'well we just didnt have the personnel, but we can come out next week'... Then why accept the job for that day anyway if you werent going to do it. Please note this appointment was made 1 week in advance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Im having so much trouble with their communication service. I had called to get get keys made for my car. I called Monday. They got my information and said it would be in about Wednesday. No one called me on Wednesday. So i called Thursday mid morning. They said sorry that they had lost my information and my work order and that they might get to me today if not than Friday. I said ok and to LET ME KNOW. No one called me that afternoon. So i called back today, Friday to make sure that i was on the list. So they sent a guy out in the afternoon to my car. There was a problem with programming the keys. They called me to tell me and that they will try to look to see if they could find out any information but if they cant it wont be until next week. I told the guy specifically to keep me updated. AND NO ONE CALLED ME. Now its closed and i have no idea if they found out any information. im guessing probably not, but all i want is to be updated on whats going on.

So I purchased a Baldwin deadbolt online and purchased a Schlage Leverset from Lowes for the garage so that I could get everything to one key (Baldwin uses a Schlage keyway). I asked Lowe's to rekey the Schlage Leverset and the Baldwin deadbolt cylinder so I would reach my goal. Lowes would not touch the Baldwin cylinder, so I went to Valley Lock & Key. Done in an hour and they demonstrated the key in my cylinder. I am happy!

the ONLY reason this unorganized bodega is still open is due to the fact they have no real competition!the ONLY guarantee this store will give, is the guarantee they will screw up 90% of the time!a lock and key store SHOULD NOT need to order basic door handles, (helpfull hint #1, stock more than 2 at a time)a lock store should have the ability to CORRECTLY write down an order and fulfill it the first time, not the SECOND, or THIRD TIME!helpful hint #2 CHECK THE LOCKS after you re-key them to make sure you ACTUALLY did your job! EFIN IDIOTSmy favorite part about my last 3 experiences in 2015 is that it takes 25 min to drive to their store location from my work. 1st experience - 4 trips back and forth for a total of over 3.5 wasted hrs. (also they were apologizing to another customer while im standing there)2nd experience only took 2 trips back and forth... yay3rd experience has led me to write this review... after having to order a simple drawer lock yesterday, picking it up today, and Im again going back tomorrow so they can adjust the cam, i guess they once again forgot to check their great work!i saw the owner in the store while i was picking up my last screw up, so i called and asked for the OWNER... Their reply, 'im sorry the owner wont be in until next week...'DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY MUST BE PART IMBRED MONKEY TO SCREW UP SO MANY TIMES, again lucky they have no real competition or they would NOT be in buisness!!!!
