Dustin was outstanding! He arrived at my location and didnt waste anytime and in no time my ignition key wont turn problems on my Honda Civic were resolved. Very professional! I definitely saved money by calling you rather than taking my car to an expensive car dealer. Super happy to know there is a far less expensive option to fix ignition key wont turn problems. I had broken my key in two so I called this place at 1 am. Of course the guy sounded tired but he was more than willing to help get a key made. It wasnt my intention to get it done that night, but I waited until the morning. I was not even in there 3 mins when they had made 2 copies of the key for 7 bucks!! Polite and professional. Best value. Highly recommend.

When I broke my vehicle's key, I called these guys up and within two hours i was able to get another key and be back on the road. Another time , they were able to program my other vehicles key fob in a timely manner. The locksmith was punctual, proactive, and performed the services with expertise. The pricing was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend these guys!

Service technician Jay is knowledgeable, efficient, and has a great attitude. He came to the parking lot where my vehicle wouldn't start and was able to identify and fix the problem of a bad wafer in the ignition cylinder.The service manager who sent Jay to my location quoted a very fair price for the hour or so at work.I would gladly recommend them and use them again.

Was told it would be 1 hour wait. After 1 hour and 15 minutes I called, no answer, called again every fifteen minutes up to the two hour mark, no answer. Left a message saying I found someone else and magically got a call back right away.

I have been trying to call because I got my keys stuck in my car. Granted it is 3am but still no one is answering its says open 24 hours so I expect someone to answer at any time! Thats just false advertisement.

Excellent service! The tech called in advance and arrived on time. He was able to quickly and accurately assess the situation. It was obvious he had lots of experience in how he tackled the problem. The locks were replaced and rekeyed within the hour, and he even helped troubleshoot and fix a problem with the strike at no additional charge. I highly recommend them, especially if you have an emergency situation.

Horrible customer service. Tried to get help with a key we had paid 95.00 there to find out why it didn't work. The guy took one look at it and accused us of using it to open a beer bottle. It's banged up. I let him know it's a spare and has been hanging unused. He continued to argue with my husband instead of resolving the issue. A tech came out of nowhere and asked what was going on. He asked to see my key and sawed a few times. And he got my key to work.

The employee did a great job at giving me a new key to my car and i payed them $110 and 2 days later I had notice he didn't put the door/key hole back on right. I had to take time out of my day to go to their place and have it fixed.Edit: actually after I went to their shop it turns out the employee did not do a good job at making another key. One of employs at the shop even gave me an extra key because he said the method the other guy used wasn't done well. So for the price you're paying, it sucks. I expect nothing but a good job if I'm paying all that money.

This little lock store is a real gem. The folks who work there are ready to help whenever it's open. When we were there, several customers came in, crowding into the room. Three men went to work, making keys, giving advice, changing batteries in keyless entry fobs, etc. The guy who served us noticed that he'd made an error in their favor but charged us the lower price he'd previously quoted us. Good people. Good service. Five stars.

Great customer service, highly recommend.I found myself locked out of my house the evening of 1/18/17. New to the area and never having used a locksmith before, I called Yakima Lock & Safe. I was told that it was going to be approximately 40 minutes and they apologized that the fee would be a little higher than normal because it was an after-hours call. They asked if I wanted to wait somewhere warm and they would call me when they were about 5 minutes out. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived sooner than expected. Their employee Danny was great- he made a very frustrating situation so much easier with his kindness and compassion. I understand that people dont like to pay for unexpected expenses, but this employee drove to my house after hours, in freezing rain and had to put chains on his van to get there. I learned that my smart lock couldnt be picked, our new weather-stripping made it impossible to credit-card, but he still tried and then made the extra effort to look at my garage door and my back door to see if he could get me in another way, to make the call less expensive. Thats what I was most impressed with, an employee taking extra time to try to make it easier for me, when it certainly didnt make it easier on him. In the end, my bill was higher than my quote, as it should have been, but the individual fees (service call, new doorknob and installation) were all extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend Yakima Lock & Safe, great customer service and love supporting a small family business. I hope that Im never locked out of my house again, but if I am, I know where Im taking my business.

Horrible customer service, they lied and told me 10 min and they took more than an hour so I left and waited the next day and they kept me waiting again and left after I showed up to the car 10 min late because I was sick. Don't recommend this place. Thinking about going to L&I after this experience because I feel very disrespected.

I had a car key cut here. The first employee that helped me took apart my key, and while I informed him there were small parts inside, he dropped it anyways and lost the spring. Instead of telling me, he grabbed a different, much larger spring that does not work with the key, so now it's useless. Additionally, he cut it and the key did not turn in the ignition. I gave 2 stars due to the fact (after returning), another employee helped me get the key cut until it worked. I appreciate his help and friendliness. However, now that the spring is lost somewhere on the floor of their business and they tried to pass off a completely different spring and not tell me, I cannot recommend this business.
