I own a 1967 VW Beetle, and getting keys copied for it is a major task. I went to DCL&SS gave them my keys, and they took care of me pronto, and at a price no one could squabble about. Amazing service! Fast, easy, and inexpensive! Jay was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I got a house key copied that Home Depot got wrong twice. He explained to me next steps if the key he copied didnt work (most likely due to the wear) and I felt confident that theyd get me a key that would work (they got it right the first time though!) Very happy with their service, and Ill definitely go back for future key needs. (Make sure you bring cash though!)

Terrible customer service!! Called to request service. Spoke to Jay & Yvette. Sent an email to Jay and gave additional info to Yvette. Over a week later and no callback. Today I called Guy the Locksmith. He showed up in 20mins and fixed what was needed + another door. Guy the Locksmith is what customer service is about and great pricing too!!

After getting here 45 minutes late the serviceman look at my door lock I said he couldn't do it did not give a reason and left leaving me stuck with being unable to lock my home and now this stranger knows that I cannot secure myself. Rather than telling why he was unable to key my door lock or refer me to somebody that was able to do the job , he sped off with the same angry attitude he had when he came. Now not only am I unable to secure myself and my belongings this stranger is also aware of my vulnerability very bad unprofessional unsafe business practice this is my first time ever reviewing a place I usually don't complain but now I feel unsafe due to the lack of concern this business has given

I needed to have a Kwikset smart key lock reset, so I called to ask how it is done, and if he can do it. He said he can do it with a 'mystery tool' if I pay him to come out for 180$; and that at that price range, I might be better off just buying new locks. When I asked him what tool he will use, he said that it is not his job to explain things to me.Well, a 5 min Google search shows that the 'mystery tool' is a reset cradle, a consumer product available for 30$ from Amazon. I understand that he needs to stay in business, but doing things like this is shady and dishonest. I don't like mechanics and craftsmen that make a living by taking advantage of people's ignorance. Answer questions honestly, it's good business.
