I found the staff friendly but the management rude & not that helpful when I voiced my concerns and questions. but the main reason I give the store a low review is because the selection is poor and the prices are higher than ACE hardware in Meiners Oaks a few minutes away. And this ACE hardware is super friendly and very helpful.

It's okay if you need something for a small task, but it's probably going to cost more than (I say this unfortunately as a promotor of small businesses) say...going to a franchise store to get everything in one swoop cheaper for many needs... Great customer service! To keep in mind... Perhaps paint, for instance, (or other specific items could be of a higher quality. That is pure conjecture, but there's a reason the place has survived for so long). There's another Hardware Store closer into Ojai that I find favorable with many items, but again pricier than larger stores. resources vary. Quality and customer service can vary... A small Ace Hardware location is a 3rd store in Meiners Oaks. All of the areas basically are part of the are residing within Ojai Valley in a sense, but to be correct I am clearing up the that the distance between the 3 locations isn't vast. I'm sure each location has a specialty that keeps them going strong, but I'm often met with a challenge finding what I need locally...
