Super nice over the phone, made an appointment for them to come to us on Saturday the 27th about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Never heard anything else so I assumed it was a go. Called Friday to confirm and never heard back. Then today called and said no one came and wondered if we can reschedule and they said it wouldnt work. I would have liked to know that 3 weeks ago so I could set up something else. Now were stuck without the car for another week or 2 and have to have someone else come out and do it.

So I broke the key off in my bfs safe and I got the piece out and the gentleman took 30 minutes to try and find a key that would work. Bent over backwards and then even offered to not take payment if the key was wrong. I get home and find out I was using a toolbox key the whole time. They went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. I called the owner right after and told him how thankful I was.

Bought a used Honda with one key, and I had some duplicate keys with transponders made here at a very fair price. There service was quick and professional. The price they quoted me over the phone was the exact price they charged, as the services required were clear at the outset. Fantastic. Very fast service. Had to get a key remade from Walmart twice, cause they kept screwing it up. Went to Monte's, and they got it perfect the first time. Bring cash if you're just getting one key. They don't do card under $5.

I went in to have a key cut that I purchased on Amazon for my truck. I have heard that some locksmiths won't cut a key you didn't purchase from them, but a friend told me this was the best place in town. Within 5 minutes he had the key cut and told me there was no charge. I was blown away. I don't exactly have a ton of key business, but if I ever do, I will use Montes.

Great service! I recently bought a truck topper for my truck and didn't have a set of keys for it so based upon my wife's recommendation I went in to inquire about having a key made (versus buying new handles). Unfortunately for me they weren't able to look up any info for key but they didn't send me away. They said they could possibly still make a key for the locks if they had a blank that would fit the cylinder, sure enough they did. It was pretty cool watching the locksmith basically create a key with blank, a file and a little bit of time. I was amazed at how well stocked their store is. They even had dozens of skeleton key blanks for sell which I've never seen at any locksmith shop. If you have a need for a professional locksmith give these guys a call or visit. Montes is wonderful! My husband locked his keys in his car at 4:00 in the morning on his way to work. Steve was cheerful even though my husband woke him up.
