You want super fast professional service then try these guys. Needed to change the locks on my business immediately, I'd continuously give 20 stars if I could ~ over and over again!! Been hiring Minneapolis Locksmiths for years and they are seriously the absolute best. Most professional, honest, kind, and super efficient. Despite how busy they are, they always make time for customers! Before finding Minneapolis Locksmiths, I had encountered many terrible, unscrupulous locksmith companies that not only overcharged, but overcharged and up-charged for unnecessary services. I'm beyond grateful to have found Minneapolis Locksmiths! They've become like family friends to us! They've helped my clients and I out of so many lock and key situations. New locks, new keys, RE-keys, access to locked homes, lock outs, all kinds! They are experts , licensed, and reputable individuals whom are truly gifted and amazing at what they do. Love and appreciate your company!

Called Minneapolis Locksmiths over to golden valley commons because after walking in to the Starbucks I realized I left and locked my keys in my vehicle (2007 Ford, if that matters). I called another place prior and there quote was outrages so ai took a chance with this place. they came quick and charged a fair price (much cheaper than the other guys) got me back into the car free of damages!

Needed help with my new apartment because I wanted to change the locks and get new keys for it. I had a front door that needed the lock and key changed and a balcony door that needed a new lock. Pong story short, called Minneapolis locksmiths and they got me scheduled. the tech arrived on time and worked fast, Im very satisfied overall!

Thank you to the gentlemen who so kindly helped me make more than 20 copies of keys for our office. It was very fast and efficient, I even thought while he was here to make a copy of my house key, and indeed I did! Thank you again!! It's always great to support local businesses, especially when they are fast and as good as they were at Minneapolis Locksmiths. Most definitely coming back! :)

I appreciated the good service but less than 30 minutes and 450.00 to drill out a lock and install a new one, I do service work for a living and was in a bind so had them help out. That is two and half days of wages. Ridiculous prices.

broke my car key and didn't know what to do, I spoke to a representative from Minneapolis locksmith and they gave me an estimate, as well as scheduled a time to come SAME DAY and make a new key not he spot. the whole process was smooth and fast

Not a good experience unfortunately. The locksmith himself was great and came very quickly, however he was too eager to drill into the lock and replace it and did so within less than 10 minutes of trying to open the lock. The cost ended being $350 which is insane to me, I am from a bigger city prior to moving here and have never paid this much for a locksmith. I have tried calling the office multiple times to discuss the charges with a manager but have yet to receive a call back and it has been two weeks of requests now. I am disappointed, I think they took advantage of me and the situation and severely overcharged.

Called at noon to get lock replaced at my business. Had to call back at 5:00 PM when no one had arrived. They forgot about it and finally showed up after closing and I waited until 9:30 PM for them to finish. The installer said he didn't have all the parts to finish the job which included rings around the lock to make it more secure, as the lock was vulnerable leaving it as is. He said the rings were included in the price and that he would bring them next week. He said that when he came back to put the rings on he could also install a latch guard for an extra $100. The next week, I hadn't heard anything from them so I called back to see if the rings were in. He said he could come by on Friday. He asked if I wanted the latch guard then as well. I said no thanks, just the rings. (I had discovered that the latch guard was $7.00 at Menards, which I could do myself). He never showed up for the appointment or gave any call. Over the course of the next month, I called 4-5 different times. Each time the person said the rings hadn't come in but that the technician would call. Never had a return call. I again called yesterday. When I asked why they weren't returning my calls, they hung up on me. I called their main phone number and related some of the story. The dispatcher said he didn't know anything about it, but would have someone call me. No calls again. Called again today - at this point the technician changed his story and said the job was already done and that it would be $150 more if I wanted the rings and latch guard. I said if they couldn't finish the job like he initially told me I would have to reverse the credit card charge of $410 that they had already charged me. He, frustrated, said, 'Fine - I'm coming to get my lock' and hung up again. I don't know what to expect further from them, but I just want to make sure other's are warned of their business practices.

Lost a key (fob) to our minivan. Researched around and costs from other locksmiths to the dealer (very expensive). These guys came out the same morning, to my house, and made a new key/fob in just a few minutes...and for less than the others. Very happy. Plus, not that it is directly relevant, I was impressed at how organized and orderly their van was. Very professional.
