***ROCHESTER COMMUNITY-WHEN YOU NEED HELP...CALL PAULS FIRST!***We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and had no options to get back in. Called the first few locksmith companies that popped up in Rochester and nobody would answer. Even though it was a Friday evening, once I got down to Pauls I was able to get Dan on the phone within one ring. Dan arrived at our home and had us in the house 10 minutes after calling him, he was extremely kind and courteous, and simply did his job quickly & effectively. Customer service at its finest.

Needed a key for my 20 year old Saab. Found a blank (amazingly) online from a guy selling blanks for classic cars -- and Paul's was able to cut me a perfect copy. Thought I was out of luck but they dialed me in! Awesome service!

I came in with my company key. Company name is on the key plus my badge, hate and jacket. The key had do not duplicate, so instead of explaining the policy to me on why he can or cannot make a copy he treated me like i was a criminal as though i was up to no good. Treated me with disrespect. I believe it was racial cause he even questioned me why am i here as though i don't belong, obviously I'm here for keys. I support mom and pop stores but not if there behavior is as such. People who read this find another key locksmith!!!

Go elsewhere, unprofessional and incapable.Accepted a job from AAA for vehicle key replacement, confirming with the agent that they were indeed able to handle the request, and would contact me within 30 minutes. 50 minutes later I had to contact AAA to learn that they had ignored the request and told the second agent they were unable to do it.

What a joke, all these keys on the walls but can't duplicate a key. Supposedly a locksmith, all they want is to sell new locks. Take your business elsewhere. Incredibly unprofessional.

The fact that they continue to call idiots idiots and treat them accordingly is the reason I go there. Their business has been there for years for a reason. They are not feelings consultants, they are lock smiths.

I went because my sons car key isn't working in the ignition. I called first just to see if it was worth trying to get a key made and the gentleman i spoke to on the phone was polite and friendly, however I never felt so humiliated then when I went into the office. The guy I spoke to on the phone was not who I dealt with in the office. The gentlemen in the office was rude, short and in the end I left feeling embarrassed without a key because he didn't even help me. Paula lock and key was recomended to me but I would never recommend them to anyone and I will NEVER step foot in their building again. -Embarrassed

Came home Friday evening from working out-of-town to find that my home had been burglarized and the thieves had gotten all of my spare keys! Phoned Paul's in desperation after business hours, felt lucky that the phone was answered. Felt even luckier that they were willing to come to my house right away; spent 3 hours rekeying locks and installing dead bolts on all my doors. Even helped me drive some very large nails to secure the broken wooden garage service door where the buggers got in! I can't say Thank You enough, so very grateful for this help.

Get your keys here! I know it's easier and cheaper to go other places but these guys haven't messed up one key! That includes my dad's years as a car dealer, my brother and my years going through muscle cars and the rest of the family, some of which lose a set of keys every year or so.

Grumpy ole men. Seems like an old guy club. Been there three times for different auto key needs and they never cared to smile or make me feel welcomed. They sure chatter with their buddies though. Wish Ace Hardware did more auto keys. I would go there in a heartbeat!

I generally like to support family owned businesses. I brought a key in this morning and asked if I could get it copied. The owner said 'yes'. I said 'I might get two of them from you'. He said 'I don't know what that means 'might'. Do you want two made or not?'. I said 'you know what I mean'. He said 'I don't know what you mean. Do you want two or not?'. Clearly he has anger issues. At that point I asked for the key back. He shouted 'Idiot! Don't ever come back to this store again'. As if that is a likely scenario after that sad interaction. I don't know what is going on his life but be prepared for rudeness if you shop here! Otherwise Ace hardware is cheaper and friendlier.
