If you get a new deadbolt from home depot, it's gonna have the same key as all the other deadbolts on that shelf. If you go to the Lock Doctor, they will make sure you have a unique key. So if the next customer buys the same deadbolt, it won't come with a key to your house's new deadbolt

I got a new ignition key made for my RV through this company. They did a great job. Finished the job pretty quickly. The price was reasonably low. It took a little bit of time for them to get around to the job due to them getting behind on their jobs because of a power outage or possibly some other reason. They stayed in communication with me with regards to scheduling and updated availability. All in all, I would definitely come back to Lock Doctor if I ever need locksmith services again.

Had a horrible experience here. My car key broke, and brought it in for them to fix it. First they never show up until 9:20am, there posted hours of operation are incorrectly stated. They order me the part, I show up next week to find out they ordered the incorrect part. The following week I show up after the correct part was ordered to find out no work has been done. I have my wife go in and they mix up my key with someone elses key, so I have to go in and show them my original key to confirm which key it is. They start working on it. I go back the next week, key is not done, hes confused why it wont come apart and doesnt want to break it. Says he will look at it on Tuesday of next week. Come back Thursday of the following week hasnt looked at it again. Says hes going to call around to ask why he cant open the key up. He calls the manufacturer and they tell him its glued together. So he takes a knife and cuts it, and it opened!! The following week I show up and he informs me if this. And I think to myself, why didnt you do this the first time!!Not to mention he says he will call you, never does. He says it will look at it during this date, never does. And the quality of work that he did to glue back my key, is so poor. And what do I get after my key takes 8 about weeks to repair (when it should have only taken maybe two weeks)...$5 off haha what a joke. Horrible customer service.

It can be hard to get a hold of them but they are great at what they do and considering that they are the only locksmiths in Corvallis I am not surprised at how busy they are! If you can't reach them right away just keep calling or go in. They helped me activate the key fobs for my 2011 Town and Country Van. They were able to match the two keys i bought on amazon to my car in less than an hour and only charged me 75! This was a great deal!

The Lock Doctor is still open. They are at a new location 1746 NW 9th St., Ste B. Right next door to Hertz. I tried the phone number and it is still the same and the answering machine lists the correct address and hours.

If I could give 0 stars I would multiple times.This company's outdated, I've called for a quote twice one-day, never got back to me. Tried 3x in a week for a simpe quote/phone back. Not even an answering machine At that number! Don't waste your time, or if you're locked out call somewhere else.
