Lost the only fob for our vehicle. Was able to schedule appointment for the following morning. The tech called ahead of the appointment. He let me know his name, the vehicle he was driving, and what he was wearing. I appreciated that information for my safety. He was very friendly and helpful. Replacement took about 20 minutes and the fee schedule was exactly as stated on the phone.

These guys probably saved me hundreds of dollars (if not a couple thousand) in bypassing the cost of having to tow my vehicle to a mechanic with whom I could not have trusted the simple task of repairing my ignition in an honest and secure way. The locksmith came out and got the job done quickly - no trouble. He made the exact repair I requested (very different from a mechanic or dealership) and I was charged exactly the price he quoted. TX Premier will have all my future business, which I am convinced is only a small expression of my gratitude.

My tenant locked himself out of the house early one morning. Since I'm 2 hrs away, I called Texas Premier at 7:40am and they answered. They sent out a locksmith within 20 minutes and he was able to open the door. Hopefully my tenant doesn't lock himself out again but if it does happen, I'll know who to call!

I lost my keys and had no idea what to do. Thanks to google I found TX Premier. I was afraid the cost would be astronomical being it was a Saturday night but the price was fair and far less expensive than going to the dealership. The locksmith came out and he was super efficient and knowledgeable. He was able to get me a key made and back into my car in no time, all while engaging in friendly conversation. I appreciate the extra steps taken to verify my identity prior to getting a new key and will definitely be referring this co. to anyone I know needing a locksmith in the future, because Im hoping to not need one ever again! But if I do I know who to call.

Excellent service!!! Called at 200PM today needing help getting into my locked house. Within 30 mins, the tech was at my house ready to help. He was quickly able to get my family into the house. He even fixed the lock due to my unsuccessful attempt to 'pick' the lock prior to his arrival. I highly recommend Texas Premier for any locksmith needs.

I waited over an hour and a half for the locksmith. He said he was in north Austin and was on his way to my location. Called the office after an hour, turns out he took another call. Didnt bother to let me know. The office said he would call me. Nothing. Called the office again. Said he would call me. FINALLY calls me and says hes 20 minutes out if I still want him to come out. Well my keys are still in my car so? Called another service in the meantime, arrived within 10 minutes and was cheaper.

Here are three reasons why our experience with this company was dreadful:1) The receptionist, after hearing us tell her to schedule us for a Monday at 10 am, put us down for 10 pm accidentally (we didnt know at the time of the call). I found out a few days later when I voluntarily called to confirm the appointment. They were able to move the time and Im willing to consider it a simple mistake, though Im stunned that their system even allowed them to schedule for 10 pm anyways. We certainly would not have had a locksmith if I didnt call a second time to confirm everything.2) Our locksmith showed up very late to our 10 am appointment. He did not call to let us know. I called him 15 minutes after our 10 am time and he told us he was on his way and showed up at 10:30 am. Unacceptable.3) The original quote for the appointment was $50-60. The locksmith got to the public storage unit with us, glanced at the lock, and said it would be $150. The reason was: its a difficult lock. He was done in 20 minutes. Tripling the price from the quote is not justified by any means. We will be complaining to the company and requesting a refund of the difference soon.Bottom line: dont trust Texas Premier Locksmith. Try another company.

There is no set pricing sheet, so they are free to charge whatever, depending on your desperation. I was charged $220 for 15 minutes of labor switching out locks; ripped off and taken advantage of since I wasnt physically present.

I made an appointment to go in to get 3 new locks rekeyed and the technician had to reschedule which happens...no big deal. The second time, I showed up 15 minutes early and no one was there. I called and they called me back (after my appointment time). He then told me he was in another city and has many appointments that are put on his plate. Ok, I'm happy you have plenty of work and now you have less and likely don't care. I hung up and wrote this review.

Very fast and compassionate service. We had been waiting for Pop A Lock for 2.5 hours, and TPL had Ben out there within 30 minutes. He worked hard to make sure we were back in our vehicle within a reasonable amount of time, and the level of professionalism was unmatched. If you're ever locked out of your vehicle, call this company first. They're worth every penny.

This may be a great locksmith but the girl who answers the phones either does not know what shes talking about or is playing a mean joke: she told me I could take my small safe to their location to save myself the $30 fee they charge to come to you. I drove over there only to be told by one of the other shop owners that the locksmith is never there, only does house-calls, and continuously has people showing up thinking he works out of the office. Sir, please get a new answering service!

Never showed up. Waited at my house all day. Talked to the technician at 9 am and said it would be a half hour. Called in two more times until 5 pm and the dispatcher kept putting it off. Don't waste your time with these people. Very disrespectful.

Dan showed up only a few minutes after the scheduled time. He rekeyed five locks very quickly after going through all my options and the bill the price was as-agreed and he even fixed a lock that wasnt working quite well thanks to the house settling at no cost to me (and it only took him 30 seconds for what would have taken me far longer). Id recommend Dan to anyone and will certainly be a repeat customer if the need ever arises.

Called 3 different locksmiths stating I needed a lock rekeyed within the hour, 2 said no way and Texas Premier showed up in 50 min.Locksmith tech was really professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. As you will notice I do plenty of reviews on here and not all of them are happy ones, but this one is because they 'say what the do, and do what they say' (and on time). Buy with impunity with this business, and as I always say on here 'vote with your money' and these guy's get a great big 'YES VOTE' from me.

Although the locksmith said up front that he had not done this sort of job (reprogram a push start car key fob), I don't think he should have accepted the job if he was that new to it and he definitely should not have charged me a $30 service fee. He told me that the issue was with the fob, however I called another locksmith later that day who was able to do the job with no issues.
