Im here in their parking lot on Saturday. The Google page says they are open and they will close at 5:00pm. Its 12:50pm and theyre closed. Sign on the door says theyll return at 8:30, which I assume means tomorrow, possibly Monday.

Absolutely STAY AWAY! Not dependable AT ALL!Yesterday I spoke to Donnie and set up an 11:00 appointment for this morning to get new locks on the doors for a property I manage.11:00 rolls around so I give them 15 minutes just in case traffic is heavy. I give them a call and Im immediately told that theres only one locksmith so theyre just probably running behind but he doesnt know when hell be here.Confused, I explain I wasnt given a window or anything, we had a set time at 11:00 and that was that, so when will he be here?The employee tells me to please hold then I hear Donnie on the line apologizing about multiple emergency calls he had last night and this morning.I told him thats fine, emergencies happen, however if an emergency comes up in my field we tell the clients it will affect BEFORE they make the hour trip to a property that theyll be waiting for me at when I wasnt planning to show up.He apologized multiple times but then kept saying he cant give me a time he can be here but hell give me an hours notice. I let him know I have many other appointments today but Ill listen for his call.An hour later I havent heard back so I call asking if we can just set it for 4:00 this evening as I have a flight to catch at 8. All he says is yes maamHere at 3:45 wishfully hoping theyd be early to make up for this morning, but knowing surely theyd be on time or notify me if theyll be late. But of course not, 4:00 passed so I give them 15 minutes before I call asking where they are.Donnie picks up and says our guy is on his way to you. I just say okay, thank you, and hung up.4:37 Hey Donnie. Whats going on here?Hes still on his way. It may be at a bit of a distance but he is on his way to you.4:56 and theyve stopped answering my calls and of course their voicemail is full so I cant rant about how unacceptable and unprofessional they are.NEVER use these people.

On new year's Eve I broke the only key I had to my car. Spent all of new year's calling locksmith who could only either get me into my car or quoted a price of at least $130 for a new key. I then remembered this place because it's right across the street from my job and my boss gets all of his keys made here. So on 1/03/20 I went in to see if they could help and tire enough they did. It took them about 45 minutes and he looked to have so issues with it at first, (I guess because the key was in two pieces) but he did it!!!! And because I didn't have my car with me he just gave me the key because he couldn't guarantee it would fit. I later checked the key and gave them a call back to tell them it worked and to see how much I owed them. They only charged me $15. Metro lock is now my go to. Thank you guys Soo much!!!!!!!!

They fixed me up some keys for my toolboxes today and customer service was awesome! Very fast service and very fair prices. Now my tools are protected. All the workers and the owner are nice and informative. I highly recommend them for any of your key and lock problems.

The owner refused to refund money after there incompetent employees could not fix a ignition switch two times have used them for years showed there true colors today please do not use them they will rip you off .They are not good people

This is apparently the only place in Hampton Roads that will cut a Kawasaki motorcycle key. The only problem that I have is their hours of operation. It's very difficult to get there before they close from Newport News after work.

First day I called an hour after our appointment to make sure they was coming said they was running late, kool. Next day I called ten minutes after my appointment 'he should be on his way', NO ONE EVER SHOWED! Two days in a row they didn't even call to let you know. Don't waste your time at this place

Great family run business! I stopped in looking for a key for my camper, after checking all the local RV stores with no luck. They did some research and were able to make me two keys from the code. They didn't just sell me the keys and send me on my way. They wanted me to call when I got home to make sure they fit! I also saw them with other customers and they were so kind and helpful! Thank you for the great service!

Extremely unprofessional shop...I walked in and made an appointment on Wednesday...the manager took my information and told me he would send locksmith that afternoon and have him call me when he's on the way....no call, no show....I called the next morning...they said they were busy and couldn't make it the day before but would show up that afternoon...again no call, no show....I called back...he promised me I would be the first job the next morning...I called back the next morning...the guy says, 'they will get to you when they can'...I asked if I could get an approximate time...the guy responded with ' I don't know but I got another call coming in'...I said 'but you have a customer on the line that you are about to lose'....he told me ' that's fine and hung up'....worst customer service ever and extremely unprofessional behavior...each time i called they had to rewrite my information down as they have no proper record keeping....save your time and go to a real shop where the people are competent and value your business

Ive had two terrible experiences with this company. Both times I have scheduled with them they just didnt show up. The first time I called 20 min after my appointment and was told yea were not gonna make it and we would have told you eventually. This time they just didnt show up and havent answered. I just called Johnny the locksmith and requested an appt and after hearing about this experience theyre going to be here in 25 minutes to change the locks.

I left my worn down car key with them after the told me they can make a new one. Said they would go to my house while I am at work and promised. They would have it ready when I got home. No phone call no show no key. This is Friday a nd they are closed Saturday. Left me stranded all weekend.
