After spending hours going around Norfolk/Virginia Beach area trying to get my aftermarket car key cut, I ended up at Johnny the Locksmith a bit frustrated that no one COULD cut it. (pun intended) To my surprise, after showing him my key, he said he could do it and immediately got to work cutting it in the machine.Apart from the best customer service, they can cut any type of car key. So Ive made Johnny the Locksmith my go-to shop for lock and key service from now on! Thank you again for the great conversation and customer service.

After getting accidentally cancelled after a two hour wait by pop a lock and told it would be another two hours on the queue before I could be seen again. Two hours later, the pop a lock locksmith calls to say he doesnt have the necessary key to help me. I turn to google and call a couple locksmiths. Moment I called Johnny the Locksmith I knew everything would be perfect. He was very professional, knew what was needed to help me in my situation, kept good communication to give me an accurate time of how long I was waiting (which was less than an hour despite being in a very desolate part of Chesapeake at an odd hour). He was very friendly, very fast, and had us on our way in no time after waiting hours and hours for other locksmiths to not show. He also managed to help us at a price cheaper than all the locksmiths I called. I could not be more pleased with how it turned out and I recommend him to everyone in a situation.

This company has some of the nicest people I have ever met. Dropped in to get a couple of keys made and but ended up also getting a new remote key fob for our car. I don't know why we have waited so long to replace the old one ! Johnny was able to put in the new one in minutes. I really love having one again.He was such a cheerful person and very good at his job. Highly recommend him anytime you need a locksmith.

Johnny came out and had to tear apart the trunk lock cylinder to make a key blank for my car after the keys were lost. Apparently one of the previous owners had the locks rekeyed without documentation on the factorys records for the locks and start codes. Johnny really went above and beyond to help us get our car entry system working again on New Years Day. Thanks for you dedication and persistence in solving our problem. It is good to see a true professional at work! I would highly recommend Johnny to anyone in need of a locksmith.

Johnny came out try to make a key for a 2008 Civic. He could not get the key made and said not to go with popalock because they do bad work. Pop-A-Lock made everything go smooth and made the key on the first try and was gone in less than 20 minutes.

Very prompt response to my call! :-) I had two very different lock issues - a jammed file cabinet lock, and a padlock for which I'd lost the key. The padlock was easily removed, and he was able to release the file cabinet lock without damaging the cabinet at all! The cost was also reasonable, so I highly recommend Johnny the Locksmith.

I prefer to have the keys for my house cut at an actual locksmith vice somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot because it's way more precise especially for older keys and locks. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a overall great vibe. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Alaena was great and Johnny was very personable. I highly recommend over and over again!

Even though customer service is not the best nor worst. However, they stayed 20 minutes after closing and assisted with making a key for me over an hour and I really appreciate that. They were not rushy nor pushy at all even though I knew they were anticipating to leave. I really feel bad for keeping them for that long but my overall experience was great!
