Great service 175 for an extra fob on my 2015 CRV which is a fraction of the price that the dealership is quoting they also replaced my battery and my original fob so battery replacement in one of my fobs brand new fob and then I brought a key fob protector total was 204 out the door hey that rhymes but anyway great service

After my key kept locking into the ignition, my mechanic recommended Guardian Security. From the first phone call, the gentlemen at Guardian Security were amazing! They listened to all my concerns, identified the problem, cited me a price and service time estimate. Arriving at the shop, everyone was courteous and pleasant. They immediately took care of my car, and were happy to explain what the problem was and how they would be able to fix it, answering all my questions patiently. I was able to sit in the comfortably in the shop while the replaced the key ignition. These guys even did so in much less time than originally anticipated! I am very pleased with the cost, quality, and timeliness of the service here at Guardian Gate Security. Thank you guys!!!!

My mother had lost her car key and she doesn't have a spare, so I've called around the Tacoma area for their prices and majority of the places were charging $100 to $300. I came across Guardian and read many great reviews so I called and they would charge my mom only $40 for it! Arrived to the place and a nice gentlemen name Curtis Zabel was very helpful towards my mom! Overall the atmosphere was homey! I recommend this place and they are extremely fast too!

Overal this is a great company to work for. I'm very passionate about my work. I strive to get that approval at the end of my job that lets me know I not only provided top notch work but brightened someone's day. I gave 4 stars as to not affect our rating. I believe in getting this rating completely organically. There's a few fake ratings on here that we know didn't ever happen that were most likely put here by our competition and it's sad that they have to resort to that.

On August 23rd, 2018, Guardian Technician Alan addressed a continuing problem with one of our Morris Thumb Latch Entry locks. Alan was meticulous, courteous, and instructive in explaining how the lock worked, repairing the lock and sharing why it was an excellent way to secure the site. He repaired the lock successfully. No issues have been noted in nearly 1.5years since Alan's repair. Based on Alan's work, (and earlier courteous, excellent work done over 5 years ago by another technician) I highly recommend consideration of Guardian Security Group to address locksmith security issues.

I lost a key fob in my car and looked everywhere and couldn't find it. The car would start and wouldn't lock so I knew it had to be in the car. I called to get a new key fob, but Joe here said he could run a scan to try to locate it for me since setting up a new fob could lock up the car with conflicting signals. After some trial and error it was found under the seat in an absolutely crazy position (stuck in the track of the seat). Saved the day and a lot money! They seem like a group of folks who really care about good service so will use and recommend them!

I work at a car dealership and our key cut machine has been down for months so I have been taking all our customer keys that need to be cut to Guardian and all the gentlemen in there are always so nice and willing to help me. They always cut the key right and do it in such a short time but with quality work. I will continue to use Guardian.

I have been dealing with a deadbeat tenant for some time and she took the locks out of the doors to keep contractors and workers from having access to do repairs. We went through the eviction process...two judges gave us an eviction the third judge a family law person vacated the order because she felt sorry for her. So we had a court order for her to be out we show up of course shes not out so we had to be around and deal with a total mess. We discover that she has taken all the Schlage locks out of the house. Anyway guardian service person Curtis came and save the day took the locks they were in a paper bag put everything back together fix the locks rekeyed the doors and were off to the races and they did it all on very very short notice as a landlord of 25 years this is my first and last eviction. Curtis went above and beyond the call of duty thank you so much for doing so much on such short notice.

I would definitely give them 10 stars if it was possible . I cannot express my appreciation for their assistance. I had purchased a 2000 Ford Taurus and needed a key made. While he was computing the keys in my car I explain to him what I had been told about purchasing a Fob. He explained to me that I had been given miss information and it would not cost nearly as much as I had been told , So I had the fob made also. I was thrilled with the Fob, I had absolutely no idea what a big difference that would make for me. Im 74 years old and it is so wonderful to have all the extras that the Fob provided, that I had no idea it would. I would recommend guardian for any of your security services. I found them to be knowledgeable and so very helpful. Thank you for making my life so much easier

I only use Guardian Security. They are very reputable and charge less than the dealers. I have had two key Fobs made here recently and saved about $100 by not going to the dealer. Their work is guaranteed and is as reliable as the dealers.

I went to Guardian for a new key fob for my Dodge Challenger. They charged me close to $300, and after going back twice the same day (over 3 hours) they weren't able to sync it correctly with my car. The next day I went to Tacoma Dodge, and they discovered that it wasn't programmed correctly, and had it fixed fairly quickly. I had to pay them almost $200 to fix what Guardian couldn't. Guardian agreed to provide a full refund if I returned the key fob. Then I'd be without a fob, and still out $200. Don't use them, they don't know what the'yre doing. I do appreciate you sending me a check, so I have changed my rating. I shouldn't have had to dispute this with my credit card company and the Attorney General's office , before you decided to rectify this issue several months later.

I locked my keys in my car. First I called Elite locksmiths in Tacoma and they wouldn't tell me how much it would be upfront. When the guy got here he wanted to charge me $165 which seemed really high. When I refused he yelled at me and tried to get me to pay $30 just for him to come out.I then called Guardian security group. They were polite and told me upfront over the phone how much I would pay before coming out. They wanted $80 which is half of what Elite wanted.The locksmith called and said he'd be here in 20 minutes. I'll stick with this company exclusively in the future. Thanks!

The only reason I didn't give them one star is because Dave was great guy. Management there needs to learn about customer service. After towing my car to them from Olympia, it was too close to closing time and they could not work on it. I told them I was willing to purchase more than one key and was going to end up spending over $400 in keys if the could just stay 10 min over totprogram a chipped key. The manager was in a hurry to get home and didn't want to deal with it. But they were happy to rip me off $300 to cut a key when they opened back up on Monday. I worked customer service and if the customer comes in one min before closing I stayed to help them. It's called ' Customer Service'. But at Guardian Security makes too much money and don't need people giving them anymore so I will help them out and not give them anymore business. I recommended Sherman Security he stays late for customers and offered better prices.

Lost my last key fob (dumb) on my Chrysler 300. I thought it was going to need a tow to dealer. Nope. Guardian has all the electronics to plug into the car and made two fobs for me. Came to my house within an hour. Professional, large van and friendly tech. They do charge mileage to come out but their fobs are cheaper than dealership. Five stars for sure. Plus I'm not sure if anyone else in Tacoma area has the electronics besides these guys. I called around first

No need to shop around, if you want a skilled technician with reputable company at a reasonable price, this is the place. Auto technician, Curtis was excellent and was able to make a new chip key that actually worked for my truck. I found out from Curtis that key made at car dealership with vin # do not always work which I have personally experienced. The key code dealer has in the system was totally different than what it actually was.

Today my 8 year old 2008 Mini Cooper's 2nd FOB went through washing machine destroying the remote door opening capability. While the RFID chip still started the car it would not open the doors from the outside. No big deal except on Mini Coopers a well known flaw is the rear hatch external handle (located under and between the license plate lights) mechanism fails after about 3-4 years as it did in mine. The other poor design feature is that the internal dash unlock switch works through the electronic latch that goes bad. After 2006 Mini Cooper (AKA BMW) stopped installing an internal release cable under the seats that would have offered a second way, other than remote electronics, to open the hatch. Therefore when the electronic hatch latch release inevitably goes defunct you can only open the rear hatch with the remote on the FOB. When your last FOB goes through the washer, you can no longer open the rear hatch. The Mini Dealer said they would gladly sell me and program a replacement FOB for just under $500. Holy SH__! is what I thought to my self. The guys at Guardian said they could do much better but the guy who does it was home sick today. So instead they took a look at my Mini and opened it from the inside by dismantling the back panel. He then showed me where the interior release cable could have been installed by BMW, BUT WASN'T (Those Bast___s at BMW) He showed me how for a few dollars and a few minutes time I could rig up a manual interior release mechanism I could easily work from the inside by a simple reach around. He charged me $55 for his time to get the hatch open. I went home and had the release wired in about 20 min and now I can open my hatch. The release is hidden from view but easy to access. I have been using Guardian for all my locksmith needs for more years than I can remember. They are all business, straight forward guys that know their trade. They try to solve your problem; not rip you off. That is why I keep going back. I have never written them a review before this, but for the $445 dollars they saved me from spending at the Mini Dealer I feel I owed it to them.

Brought my 9-3 Saab in to have keys made. by far cheaper than any other place I checked plus they went above and beyond and diagnosed a few other issues and helped me out. I worked mainly with dave. And I can't say enough about how thankful and easy the whole process was. Id rate higher the 5 stars if I could.

Had my son's 1999 Dodge Durango towed to Guardian to have the Fob programmed so the car would start. The key wouldn't start it. Randy was a LIFESAVER!! He even replaced the negative battery connector for me - AT NO CHARGE!! He figured out the problem with the lock system, got her running. RANDY ROCKS! i wished i would of got his name. but i didnt even have to say anything when i put my broken key, and fob on the counter. i was calling all sorts of locksmiths trying to get a quote to get my key and fob replaced. of course Toyota wanted to charge me $500ish dollars! Y I K E S! the guy told me what needed to be fixed, straight away gave me a price and got to work. i was on my merry ways in less than 30 minutes. im a single mom and dont have the time or money to pay a buttload. and i paid less than a $100! yall guys check them out and have them give you options. they seriously made my whole day! thank you, Guardian Security!!
