I contacted Half Price Unlocks they were very prompt to answer my price quote request and arrived within 15 minutes or less. He had the car unlocked in less than 5 minutes. Very impressive. While the service was prompt and very helpful (keys locked in a running vehicle) the quote which said it was the total with no hidden fees ended up adding $2.00 to use a card and then added tax. So 'total' didn't really mean anything. $49.18 ended up being $56.82, just an FYI.

A BUNCH OF FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS. I lost my keys and couldnt get inside my house. I contacted Half Price locks and was told it would be $79.18 to unlock my door.+ no hidden fees in our conversation. He came by in a beat up car with some chick in it(not professional at all. For a business with 100+ reviews??) (I think most of these reviews are fake) and as he was opening the door he mentioned that he would charge us tax on top of what he quoted +an additional $40 for the top lock to the door. WHAT? There are obviously 2 locks on most doors. You would think there would be just one charge. I couldve paid it but this guy doesnt deserve my business. No integrity with this guy, stay away.

Ok so I don't review often and I've definitely never reviewed on someone's behalf, ever. But, I gotta ask. Half price of what? Dude at work called you guys after I saw on your website it was going to be 50-70 bucks. they never quoted my coworker and ended up charging him 180 bucks. So what, is this like about half price of unlocking the pope mobile or a GD space shuttle?Owner, please do not respond with the generic 'we strive to give the best blah blah blah experience possible'. it makes you sound even more fake.

So the guy Joe that works for this company is freaking amazing I ran out of gas well I run out of gas all the time but every time besides one time he's been dispatched to come give me gas like if it's not a coincidence just the universe trying to make us be friends LOL but no seriously this guy is awesome he can and help me out on multiple occasions and multiple locations it's interesting how no just about no matter where I'm at he shows up right on time he's very respectful and I would recommend his services to anyone and everyone I didn't even make up some type of slogan with my homegirl and her homegirl and their home girl it would probably be like if you need a bro call half price unlocks and ask for Joe! Went to the website. Advertised price on website was $47. So I called. The totally didn't honor the price listed on the website. Fix your website otherwise it's completely false advertising.

We contacted this locksmith to help us with a stuck key. Before arriving, he quoted me that it would be a small service fee to get him to the location, but that fee would come off if further services/repairs were done. He assured me that once he got to the location, he would call me and talk to me about options and prices before moving forward with them. He then proceeded to extract our cylinder using only a flathead and hammer - no specialized tools or techniques. He quoted that just for the work he had done, we owed him $300. He said that it would be about $1500 to do the repair and we did not have any other options. I asked him to stop, explained my concerns. He still insisted that we owed the $300 plus tax. I paid it ($327.80) and asked that he send me an exact quote for further repairs. He never sent the quote. I then consulted 7 other locksmiths. Every locksmith we consulted said that the technique he used was incorrect and caused more damage than necessary, and all of them said that the services rendered (mainly the fee to get him on site) should not have been more than $100. The fact that he never send me the quote for the additional repairs is indication to me that he knew he overcharged us and that his quote was astronomical. In the end, I was able to fix the issue myself for $20.

Amazing! We locked ourselves out of our UHAUL, and uhaul wanted 500$ to send a locksmith out. I frantically got online and started searching and found Half price locksmith. They came out within 15min and had the uhaul unlocked within 10 min and they charged us 74$!!! Amazing customer service. HIGHLY recommend.
