I caution anyone inquiring services from KeyMe. I needed my bedroom door opened. KeyMe connected me with a locksmith that was 45 mins away. When he arrived he spent 30 seconds tinkering with the lock and told me that the inside of the lock was broken. He said the inside of the lock normally has 5 pins and there are only 4...making it impossible to open. His next suggestion was to drill a hole through the lock and door, and then replace it with another doorknob. That was going to cost roughly $129. When I refused to pay that price, he asked to go back to tinkering with the lock. I asked him to leave since he couldnt open the lock. He insisted I still pay him the customer service fee $29. I called KeyMe again and asked to speak with a supervisor. I asked the supervisor to explain to me why I was expected to pay a locksmith $29 (every time) despite them actually knowing how to the open the door. The supervisor said they spoke with the locksmith and insisted the ONLY option was to blast a role into the lock and door. Then I called Jacks Key Service. They sent someone out, when the locksmith arrived he opened the door in less than a second! He saw no broken lock, and laughed at the idea of blasting a hole through the lock and buying a new doorknob.
