Being stuck outside our apartment on Friday night is not what one can ask for himself. Thankfully, Artie's locksmith were open and came for the rescue. Again, it meant a lot for me and my husband that you sent us a technician in no time!!!! Will highly recommend

UPDATE: I got a call from Ben who explained that it was an outside contractor that came to my home, that sometimes after hours they use freelancers. He is willing to make good on this job and give a partial refund, so I am feeling better about Artie's as a business. I called in the evening to have someone look at a broken deadbolt. The guy on the phone could not give me a solid quote but said a new deadbolt is around $150-$175. What he didn't tell me was the exorbitant price for labor. The guy showed up promptly and was very nice - took a very long time to install the new deadbolt and now though it works fine, my door is harder to open and close so I don't think it was aligned properly. But the worst part is he didn't give me an exact quote till my deadbolt was removed, thus leaving me no choice but to pay a SKYROCKETED fee from what I was quoted on the phone. I feel robbed and am extremely disappointed in what I thought was a long time neighborhood business. I'm thinking this is not the same people as when Artie's Hardware was open.

Eilay was amazing! He came after he was already home to let me into my apartment because it was an emergency. He was extremely kind and talked me through what had happened to my lock and was incredibly efficient with his repair. He was calm and helpful and answered all of my questions definitely would recommend using his services!

Guy was wonderful and extremely diligent. I made an appoint and he was exactly on time. I needed my mailbox lock replaced after I lost my key. Guy was able to remove the lock and install a new one quickly and made sure to clean up after. I am super thankful and would happily recommend! Super easy and painless.

Dan came through Super fast! I was expecting him to take over an hour. He helped me back into our offices after I lost my keys. He changed out my door locks and recommended a much better safe to me. He cleaned up the wood chippings afterwards, left no damage. No one is better than Artie's!
